Lore lain down upon something soft. For a moment, Lore thought that he felt something soothing, almost comforting brush up against his hand. his mouth opened slightly as his breath voiced out slowly and barely audible. "med...icine.... Locket...." He spoke extremely softly. His body reacted, and coughed once. His chest surpressed and felt curshing on him.

Kaze thought a moment, then quickly moved to the desk and rooted around for the locket he had thrown in there before. He grabbed it and rushed back to the bed. And then it hit him. "You can speak." he said, putting the locket into Lore's hands and helping him open it.

With all effort he could muster, hee sat up and opened the locket quickly revealing a pod of red beads inside. Taking one of these stones, he swallowed it immediatly, as he took a moment to breath. His hand clutched at his chest, but it started to relax more and more within the minute. Once the pain subsided, he took a breath of relief.

Kai woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. He arched his back slightly to stretch and he looked around groggily, "Gah...Must've fallen asleep..." He smiled and held Riki and the sick boy closer, "Happy now?...I slept..."

Kaze breathed a sigh of relief with him and touched Lore's arm lightly. "Are you okay now?" he asked, genuine concern in his voice.
Riki nodded and grinned widely. "I'm happy!" He stretched and stood up a minute to get his legs moving. "So I guess that means I win, huh?"

Lore's head shot up and stared right into Kaze. He shut the locket, and adverted his gaze away. He stared down at the locket that lain in his hand. As he held a grip on it. He nodded his head in confirmation to Kaze's question. "he seems... so nice now..." He told himself.

Kai laughed and gently set the sick boy at his side, legs cramping from sitting for so long. He slowly stood up and stretched, bones cracking all the way down his spine, " Wow...That felt great..." He then looked at Riki and nodded, "Yes...I guess you do..." He smirked and hugged Riki tightly, "You are one crazy little boy, ya know that?"

"Hey, being crazy isn't all that bad!" Riki giggled and spun in a circle, his weak legs causing him to stumble a little bit.
Kaze frowned. "What, you can't talk now?" He took his hand away from Lore and stood next to the bed, his arms folded across his chest.

Kai smirked and shook his head, "No...It's not bad..." He bit his lower lip and threw caution to the wind. He gently placed a kiss on Riki's cheek and he quickly pulled away and sat back down next to the sick boy. He wrapped an arm around the boy and pulled him close to make sure he wouldn't lose too much body heat. His black hair was doing a horrible job at trying to hide his crimson face.

Lore didn't dare to look up at Kaze. He fidgeted with his fingers a ltitle bit, and gripped hard on the necklace. Lore laid his hands across his lap, and looked down at the floor, silently counting the tiles to himself.

Kaze grabbed Lore's chin and said, "What do I have to do to make you talk?" He looked into his eyes and shook his head. "Useless." he said, letting go of Lore's chin.
Riki blushed bright red and touched the spot that Kai kissed, smiling widely. "Um.. I.." but his voice trailed off and his smile fell when he saw him hug the sick boy. 'Probably just being nice' he thought to himself, kicking himself for thinking otherwise.

Lore still didn't dare look at Kaze. What was he going to say to him anyway? What did he want to tell him anyway? Lore scoffed, and looped the chain back behind his neck, he pulled his hair up and finished locking the locket around his neck again. It felt like coming back home to him.

Kai bit his lower lip hard and patted the spot next to him and looked up at Riki, "Here...Sit..." His arm had loosened on the sick boy and it was now resting on his lower back. His grey eyes never left Riki and he was pleading with them to have Riki sit next to him.

Riki sat down next to Kai again, but a little farther away. He hugged his knees and didn't meet his eyes, still blushing a bit.
Kaze shook his head and grabbed the locket again, taking it off. "I'll wear that." He put it around his own neck and smiled. "I want you to need me. Depend on me. Besides, it'll stop you from running away."
