Nick walked beside Aji as Astara began to lead them out of the town. Soon she found herself a bit more behind her than beside her as she attempted to dodge people as well as stay caught up. She spoke in a voice that was loud enough for Aji to hear over the other on going conversations, "That's a very kind offer, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to decline. Truth is, I'm kind of on a....mission right now, but I put it hold when I met Reika". After mentioning her name, Nick looked for her to make sure that she was with the group and hadn't been swept away in the growing sea of people.

At feeling something tug at her backpack, Nick looked behind her and saw that it was Reika. She paid it no mind at first, thinking that she was just trying to keep up with the group and make it through the crowd. Though when she fell, Nick almost went with her, getting pulled back. She caught her balance, straightened her backpack and then offered Reika a helping hand. She wasn't too concerned with losing the rest of their group. She had excellent eye sight and if that wasn't enough, then she could always sniff them out.

Astara heard many things with her sharp ears and was starting to get a headache before caught the flutter of Aji's wings. Looking behind she stopped to allow the others to catch up. People cursed as they bumped or shoved into her and she was getting annoyed. Her ears were hurting from all the noise.

At hearing Nick's question, Aji nodded. "Sure. It would be a pleasure." After she accepted the fox demon's request, Aji tucked her staff under her belt and looked back at Reika. "Give me your hands and I'll carry you. Once we're out of town, I'll let you down."

Astara peered over the heads and looked back again to see what they were doing, a person pushed into her and swore loudly in her face. Her face contorted into a frown and her eyes flashed wild anger.

"Distance!" she roared, a threatening growling laced under her voice.

People near her backed away or winced at the loudness. In her temporary space she saw some wagons being pulled and directed her hearing towards the train.

Some sort of travelling circus? she thought as she heard some protesting growls of animals and saw some flashes of wild eyes.

Nick watched as Aji took Reika and lifted her out of the crowd. Once she concluded that they were safe, she made her way back to Astara, "How 'bout we make this trip less time consuming", she said with a smile as she took the girl by the hand and started weaving through the crowd. She had heard her growl as she demanded the people to keep their distance from her. She had formed a nice circle, though Nick doubted it would last long. She used her agile ways and quick sight to move through the crowd like liquid. She knew that because of what Astara was, she would have no problem keeping up.
In remembering that, she also remembered that she had forgotten to ask. But then, that was part of the story that she hadn't remembered. Or, had she just left it out to hide what she was? Nick didn't know for sure, but she decided to drop it. If she was hiding, then she would let her hide. If she didn't know, then she would continue to leave her in the dark. After all, who was she to pop someone's bubble.
Within no time at all, Nick had made her way to the south exit and was standing by the gate looking for Aji and Reika.

After they had landed in the woods, Reika went to look for her things and Aji stood guard. Suddenly, she saw Reika rush passed her, toward the gate. Feeling concerned, Aji flew after her and met her at the gate. "What happened? Did somebody try to attack you?"

Astara did not have time to ponder about the travelling circus and caught up with Nick as she passed by. Upon reaching the gate she looked around for the other two as well. She saw Reika running towards them and Aji landing near them. As they stopped and started talking she listened while thinking quickly.
