As Rose looked back she found Jason standing before the man, hands in his pockets, talking to them with his broad grin, the men however were frowning and talking down at him angrily, he couldn't help it, he loved to annoy idiots like these men.

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose frowned as she saw Jason talking to the men. She turned her mare, watching them properly. She kept Foxy in check though, waiting. Jason seemed to have things under control. She could see that wide grin of his. She would wait and watch, see what he would do.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

"What your stranger doing?" Akanksha asked with a frown. "Feeding fire makes it more dangerous for me when he leaves." And it would, if Jason just fed them something to add to their hate, it would be she that would have to deal with the aftermath once he had gone.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose shrugged. "I'm not sure." Her amber eyes never left Jason. "I'm not going to get involved quite yet. I get the impression from him that he can take care of himself. You don't travel alone at all unless you are either stupid or able to take care of yourself. And he doesn't strike me as stupid. Or at least, not that stupid." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akanksha arched an eyebrow and looked at Rose. "Which am I?" She questioned the woman, considering she traveled alone all the time.

After a while the men started nodding, they even smiled slightly, Jason laughed and they laughed along with him, his leaned in to whisper to them, they laughed some more, Jason's grin broadened, he shook hands, gave friendly waves, and the men road off. Jason turning to stride back towards Akanksha and Rose, whistling cheerfully.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose glanced at Akanksha and flashed the girl a grin. "You are very well able to take care of yourself. And certainly not stupid. Not with a brain like yours." She said, knocking the girl's head lightly with her knuckles. "I've seen your aim. You're an excellent marksman with your bow and arrows. And I know you can talk your way out of a lot of situations." She told her easily. Rose had never understood those that hated Akanksha simply because she was native. The girl was one of Rose's best friends. She couldn't see how anyone could hate the native, with all the work she did for everyone. She'd literally lost count of the number of times Akanksha had helped her in one way or another. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akanksha flash Rose one of her rare true smiles and batted at the girls hand. "Good to know." She replied before dropping her smile and watching Jason walk towards them. The odd native could have easily shot both the men dead had she chosen, instead she had inflicted minor injuries and only to get them to back off. When given a choice she never took a life.

"Well, hopefully they won't bother you again." Jason said, nodding to Akanksha before he continued whistling and headed past the two women.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose felt pleased when she got a smile, a true smile, from Akanksha. Those were rare. She turned Foxy around again, nudging her to walk beside Jason. "So what were you talking about with them?" She asked curiously. She rode easily, despite the lack of saddle and reins, the mare responding to her touch and voice. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "And how'd you do that?" Rose pressed him for details. "I've been trying to get that pair to leave her alone for awhile. They think she's just some dumb native they need to get ride of, one way or anther." The scorn and distaste was clear in her voice. She couldn't stand those guys. Followed along behind Foxy silently. She was also curious as to how he had managed to convince them to let her be. It was not often that people as biased as they changed their views so quickly.

I convinced them that if they think she's a...what was it, 'dumb native' then she wouldn't be worth the trouble of chasing, let alone wasting ammunition and bloodying weapons on." The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose rolled her eyes. "Well there's the problem. I never though of sinking down to their level. I'm afraid I'm not very good with the 'idiot' language." She laughed lightly. "I usually just end up frustrated and shooting something. Should be them, but I've never done that." She added the last part in a mutter. The tiger that should be....isn't....
