hey if i can say something....don't ask people what u should like or dislike ask yourself what to like or dislike it is your being your own person you decide what ur fate is what you like or dislike don't ask ppl about yourself do what u decide

Antares was a little caught off guard by Melody's question and turned to face her. Most people her age generally just stick to what they think is correct and are usually too stubborn to change it. "Well, it isn't as simple as being wrong or right, it's a matter of 'is your reason right or wrong to start off disliking them'. I would personally say you're reason is a valid one."
Antares then looks out to nowhere, seemingly staring off into space. "The knowledge that somebody murdered one's parents is truly a solemn burden to carry...believe me, I know the feeling..." He faced Melody again and smiled slightly. "but do not let what happened in the past get in the way of creating bonds with other Vampires. I'm not sure if this is the time to tell you, but that miss Tasusa Heiwa you spoke to at the beginnning of class was a Vampire...and the two of you seem to get along just fine."

"Mr. Antares, forgive me for interuppting. I will be back this evening for the cleaning cloth. and I was wondering if you could check out my blades to see if they are in working order. smile If you are not too busy. oh and hey Melody."
and With that she walks off to the dorms for a shower

Melody looked at him surprised. Oh I had no idea. Melody thought it over for a while. I am still scared of them but I will give them a chance. Also if you don't mind me asking. What happened to you that makes you relate to me?

Antares nodded at Ms Day Lily. "I'll see what I can do."
He turned to Melody. "You see, Melody..." Using her first name without his standard formalities for the first time since she entered his classroom. "Like you, my parents, who were two of the best weapon artisans in the world, were also killed by someone...a Warloc to be precise...he killed them and left me, nothing remained except myself and the weapons that had been spared. This is why I understood your sentimental feelings for this blade...and also why you hate Vampires."

Antares shook his head. "Revenge is not something you should take recklessly. Indeed I did search for the man who killed them, but Warlocs are...tricky. They can appear in one place and vanish to one on the other side of the world if they have to."
"As for being calm, I have my weapons to help me with the grief." Antares gave a small smile. "All of the weapons I use, in both practise and combat, were made or designed by my parents. Whenever I use them, it feels as if they are here with me, still watching and protecting me from within thier blades."

Melody smiled sadly. The you have a lot more willpower than I do. I killed nearly every last one of the vampires in the clan that killed my parents. I didn't stop the the few that did the deed, but everyone. I was so angry I went into a furious blood thristy state that just drove me mad. Everything went by so fast that I couldn't stop nor control anything I was doing. I heard their screams and pleads yet I just continued to kill. It was like being possessed. Melody looked away dissapointed in herself.

He looked at her solemnly. "People in these situations are affected in different ways. Some just try to escape the past and forget it happened, some carry the burden and simply mask it to keep others from knowing...and, of course, some take the extremity of revenge. Listen, what you did does not matter, it's how you feel about what you did. Tell me: when this happened, did you feel good about what you did or not?
