Misty looked down at her watch, "what is taking everyone so long." she commented to herself. Turning around she saw that Dominique was in deep thought, so instead of bothering her about it she went to the com. system and activate it once again, "Last call for all research and field mission members, please I repeat, report to the control room to prepare for departure. Then glancing at Dominique for that announcement caught her offguard. Misty turned the system off and said, "Sorry I was getting impatient there. Hopefully that will get them running in here." Then she went and took her seat that the conference table.

"It's alright." Dominique reassured her. "Ah well that's our third member now all we need is the last one." She said looking up at Angel then to Austin and frowned. Oh well I guess it's important he knows what's about to happen as well. What was taking Sean she began to wonder.

The doors opened and a fairly tall lean woman entered the room. She had a warm but serious look on her face. Dominique recognised her instantly but knew the others may not. "Ah everyone this is Commander Joseph of the Samson. She'll be running the station while we're down on the planet." Rebecca smiled and inclind her head. "Hello everyone. Don't mind me I'm just going to sit in on the debriefing so I can report to the others of my crew at need." And with that she took a seat at the far end of the conference table.

"Pleasure to meet you...?" Rebecca said pausing. "I'm sorry I don't know your name. You're the doctor correct?"

I watched as more people came in and found a seat, I fook out my notebook and a pencil and starting to finish what I had been doing earlier.

"No, i dont know where he is esactly, last thing I knew he was running some tests on Austin," I whispered to Misty.

Dominique leaned over the conference table slightly drumming her fingers. She was starting to get a little impatient even though she knew Sean was being delayed for a very good reason more then likely. She glanced over Rebecca. She didn't seem phased at all in fact she seemed to of at some point gotten up and obtained a cup of coffee from the transwaiter. She was now reclining in her chair smiling benignly sipping at her coffee. "You're too tense dear it will all be fine" she said taking another sip. "You still have time." Dominique laughed at herself knowing she must look riduculous and collapsed into her chair.

Dominique looked at Austin suprised to have been addressed. "You're right Austin I do know your name but I don't expect you to remember me considering when I first saw you you were passed out on the deck floor." Dominique smiled gently "I am Dominique Lambardia the chief science officer of this little escapade." She looked him over carefully. "You certainly seem to be the type that goes around putting holes in people's doors do you?" Rebecca looked up from her coffee "I was wondering about that..." she commented glancing at the door behind her. Dominique laughed. "Yes that was indeed our friend here. Tell me Autsin do you know what it was that you were trying to do here?"

Dominique was taken aback by the sudden change. "Umm... alright sure." She said nodding her head and getting to her feet. "Well have about 45 minutes until the machine takes effect. As you may have noticed the gravity has been increasing steadly as the machine begins to move faster and faster. At about the 15 minute count down it might become a bit too difficult to walk cause of the strength of the machine. Our artifical graviety is working at maximum capacity to make sure we don't get pulled into the machine but in an effort to sustain its energy it is redirecting the gravity towards the floor. At that time we will all annoculate ourselves with the anesthetic Misty has prepared. This will numb your body so that way you won't feel anything when we... well get basically get compressed into practically nothing... I know sounds painful that's why we're numbing ourselves. Anyways once the compression can no longer sustain the entire station will explode reforming everything to it's original size on the opposite end of the artifical worm hole." She hit a button on the table and a virtual 3-D model appeard of the station projected above the table. It showed the station compressing inward and then exploding into a dark whole. The diagram turned to show the whole forming a tunnel that dissipated into space. "Since we're traveling through time not space the wormhole doesn't have a visible end in this time frame." She hit another button and the screen showed empty space then the wormhole suddenly appearing then collapsing on itself and reforming the station. "Believe it or not we will live through this... theoretically..." She coughed nervously turning off the display. "Once on the other side the machine will once again need approximatly 16 hrs to go into effect again. That is what the watches are for. Once the space station crew starts the machine again they'll notify us and we set our watches to that length of time. The watches will notify us periodically of how much longer we have." She paused for dramatic effect letting the others take this in. "Now we will not be able to proceed simply from one time frame to the other we'll have to return to this time before each jump. This is due to the fact that time is like a straight line." She pulled out a piece of string, she had always done well in class on presentations. "Now what we are doing is cutting the string at our point and reattaching it to a point further back in time." She snipped the string then taking the end tied it to the mid point of the first string forming a lope. "Everytime we have to straighten out the string before attempting to go back again to avoid messing with the very fabric of space and time." She tied the tip of the loop to another point of the same string forming two loops that twined around each other and looked fairly messy. "We don't want to be responsible for destroying what God took the effort to create." She smiled at the others. "That being said any questions?"
