"you did well yesterday." She muttered. "You may roam the house if you'd like." She smirked, "Don't try to escape either. It might sound cruel, but you are a liability to this war. And I promise, if you try to skip out, Von will make your life even more like hell. That isn't a threat, it's fact." She nodded to him, then left him to speak with opal.

Helnus nodded in understanding, still venting in his mind. He soon found the training room again and got to work, again decimating the dummies in every way possible.

Blais walked into Von's study. "Will you ever learn to knock, little sister?" He asked, not looking up from his book. Blais shook her head, "Will you ever learn that I'm not your little sister?" Von smirked, "Hasn't anyone ever told you it's rude to answer a question with another question?" Blais' nostrils flared. She managed to stiffle a growl, and turned on her heels to find Opal. Von shook his head and went back to his book.

helnus continued fighting, then practiced his reflexes as he found machines to shoot weapons at himself, though a few still cut him. It had been awhile since he;d fought a serious battle, which made him lag a little bit.

Blais met Opal in the cellar, where she was standing over someone. "I'm going to ask you one more time, dear. Where is Xain?" The teenage boy cried out as Opal pinned him to the wall with her sai. "I-I don't know. I was only a cadet . . . .major Ulrick never told me anything." Opal shook her head, "I really am sorry to have to do this to one of my own kind. And such a dear young one at that, but i do what i must to help us thrive." And with that she brought up her free hand and sliced his head clean off befor he could make a sound. Blais shook her head, "I don't think that was neccesary . . .he was innocent." Yes, but not by much, he killed Rut and Jiho without a second thought. Quite mercilessly as well." Opal commented. Blais sighed, "I was fond of those two . . .such great warriers . . .well, do what you must with the body." Blais waved her permission and walked up the stares while Opal feasted on the dead vampire boy.

Helnus felt a shock as he smelled blood, tantalizingly close. He hesitated, causing another cut and hissing in pain. He continued training, trying to ignore the smell.

Blais stepped outside, the sunlight sizzling her skin. She looked at the forest west of the house as the wind danced with her hair. She sighed then headed back inside.

Finally he stopped his training, walking around. He spotted Von reading and kept his face impassive, but quickened his face, wanting to be far away from him.

"Take this," He says tossing a book to him. "It will help you with your combat." He looks up at him, his eyes a dark amber. "Try not to look so annoyed."

Helnus caught the book, blinking in surprise. At the comment, he bit back a retort. "I'll keep that in mind." He said calmly before walking out, heading back to his room and sitting down. He glared at the book for a moment, then sighed and began to read.

Von rolled his eyes then went back to his own book.
Blais strolled in the study. "Brother . . ." She whispered, tears drenched. Von looked up, "Yes, litttle sister?" Blais inhaled, "Rut and Jiho have been included in some of the casuaties." Von closed his eyes and massaged his temples. When he finally opened them again, they were black as death. "Understood. Send a message to the captain to send our . . . the twins." Blais looked like he had just struck her. "Yil and Yeray? Impossible, They have only just finished their training! They aren't ready!" Von shook his head, "It doesn't matter, they are one of the most talented warriors. We are in need of their skills." Blais shook her head, but left to do as she was told. There wasn't time to fight with her brother.

Helnus was reading the book, soon finishing it. Hey, he was a fast reader. He immediately got up and went to train again, using the information from the book as he fought. He practiced the moves, focused on getting his speed up, and worked with each of the weapons individually.

As Blais was getting ready to send the message, there was a knock at the door. She sighed then went to go get it. When she opened the door a familiar voice greeted her, "Hey there Blais. How's your brother?" "C-captain Toshi? What are you doing here?" Blais muttered surprised. "Well, since Rut and Joshi were your nephews, I decided to come and give you an update on their success." Blais nodded "Of course. Come in." She ran to Von's study, the captain following behind. "Von, look whos here . . ." Von looked up "Captain? Why are you here?"
