Salazar got up and said. "I have such a lovely family don't I?" He was watching the events outside. "She needs help. Come with me." He stormed outside hoping that Hikaru was behind him.

Lothaire watched as Maya felled the Naga in one blow, "Beautiful..." he whispered. He raised his hand, demonis flames appearing and taking the shape of a blade., "This is why I want you!"
He charged at her a manical gleam in his eyes, "You cannot deny me!"
Maya gave an inward gasp, jumping out of the way as his swords slicedd down. She raised her hand at him, her palm flickering with magic. She released it and it flew towards him... Only to have him cut through it. "No..." she thought.
He laughed, "Is that all Princess? I'm sorely disappointed in you. Let's try it again, shall we?" He appeared behind her, "Ready to dance?"

Stella walked outside after Salazar to help out in some way. She pulled out some strings and stood there, prepared.

Salazar saw the demon land away from the girl. He rushed over to it and let out everything on it. He took his blade and swiped across the neck of the demon. The blade left the neck and hit the chest. He stabbed it over and over and over. He let it all out. It was dead now. He got up and returned to his home.

Hikaru stood there in the front door, leaning against the frame for support. She watched Salazar with one eyebrow raised and a smirk. As he walked back through the door, Hikaru made way for him. "Feel better?" she smiled.

Salazar grined and said "Extremely" He walked back into the house. "Hikaru, we have some things to discuss, will you kindly follow me upstairs?"

"Uh sure." she answered. Hikaru followed behind him toward the stairs, while limping on her left leg a little. Thats when she noticed her current attire. During the healing session the night before, she had smeared some of Salazar's blood on her dress and it was now hard and dry on the cloth. "Maybe I should change as well." she laughed lightly. As she reached the stairs, she placed both hands on the rail, pulling herself up the steps, trying not to put too much pressure on her leg.

"Of course, just meet me in my room when you are done. We need to discuss what we are going to do about my brother." Salazar said walking into his room. He layed down on the bed to relax till then.

Hikaru limped up to the landing and walked over to the room at the end of the hallway. She sat down on the bed, taking her clothes out of her night bag. She sighed. Now both of her dresses were dirty. Maybe later she would take a short walk to the little stream she saw running behind Salazar's house. She could rinse the blood and dirt off of them easily that way. Hikaru got undressed and took out a short pair of black biker shorts and a loose red T-shirt. She quickly threw them on and walked over to the small dresser in the room. She let her hair down and brushed through it a few times until she was satisfied with it's look. Hikaru gave a weak smile to her image in the mirror and turned toward the door. She peered out the bedroom door before tiptoeing over to Salazar's room. She knocking lightly on the door before opening it and entering.

Hikaru walked over the bed and cautiously sat on the edge. "Well I want to ask you a question actually..." she looked toward the floor, not wanting to make eye contact. "What did your brother do.... to make you so angry at him?..." she asked in a gentle, almost soothing tone.

"It was a two way street. Emilian is my half brother. A by-product of my fathers affair with a vampiric woman. When he learned of the pregnacy he ran like most dogs do. Emilian got the short end of the stick. No father, no money, no estate. I got everything he didn't, I lived the life he wanted. So he killed him. He helped the vampire to murder him. That is why I hate him." Salazar said all this in a monotone voice. It still hurt him after all these years.

Hikaru didn't really understand his way of thinking, but she wanted to be gentle with such a subject. "What your brother did....was horrible....but...have you thought about this through his eyes?" she looked up at him with gentle eyes.

"I tried, in fact I didn't want him dead. I only wanted to confront him. However that kinda faded when he stabbed me. He wants me dead. He can't be reasoned with. I have no other way to look." Salazar said with a sigh. "I know it might seem odd but we need to keep you and the kitsune boy alive. So lets focus on that."

Hikaru sighed and looked away again. She couldn't get Emilian's aura out of her head. It was a strange one. It was so dark and angry, but it was different from that of an evil person's aura. Hikaru couldn't help but feel saddened a little by this. "If only there was a way to soften his heart....." she said in almost a whisper.
