CFAR- right now, it's not even a crew member's forum, it's more of a plce for me to put all my s**t together before I post it here for you all. Wooow meat shield. lol I remember that phase the guild went through when we used all the initiates as meat shields and canon fodder. Was around Kiss's time, neh?

To CFAR: Yeah, I've heard those books were good. I have the first, just haven't gotten around to reading it yet. xD
So any ideas, besides the scouter idea, in which I could get invloved in the RP? Don't want to clutter the thread up with anymore OOC, so I'm posting here. xD

Thank you for your time and the experience, but I've come to the conclusion that this guild is not what I am looking for in terms of a leisure activity.
To my Brothers & Sisters, I apologise for leaving you "high and dry" in terms of role-playing--please, feel free to NPC Sabine as necessary to complete your own games, or write her out as necessary. Thank you for writing with me!
Remember: we're all expendable.
Sincerely, Sibyl Snapdragon

I agree with every word Sibyl wrote in that conversation. Ender, how is it that in five years you still haven't managed to overcome your ego? The only reason I am not resigning at this moment is out of respect to EV, who asked that we keep peace during her absence. When she returns, however, that is my intention.

Goodbye, Sibyl. You will be missed.
Well, now that EV is gone, we can get the explosives out. Who has the C4?

I remember the guild being more leisurely when I first joined... maybe all the betrayals and almost guild death over the years has hardened hearts.

No, no. This guild is still a fun, enjoyable milieu. However, the losses of our high-ranking members and recent change of leadership have made things a little more agitated and less leisurely. I'm sure that, within a few weeks, things will loosen up a little more. And, we must remember, Gaia was a different place three years ago. When this guild was established, things were different. People took this website seriously and were more active. Sadly, things have changed. Unfortunately, I myself joined Gaia during that decline in seriousness and activity. However, this guild has withstood much damage, and is still a great place. Perhaps the attitude of our members has changed slightly, become less light-hearted and more stern, but we are still the same organization that we were years ago. Things have changed. But we are the same organization.

ender_169 Yeah, it says Brutus made the video and the video is definitely worth all the nine something minutes of watching. It talks about the guild at points and even a special dedication to me. whee I love you Brutus! That made my night. blaugh If you ask me (and yes, I am aware that nobody did), this video is and always has been epic. Once again, thank you Brutus, for creating it.

CFAR: You should ask the General. It was my intention when I first created the Forge to allow people to make whatever kind of melee and metal armor they wanted, but to also give me something to do. If you want to be able to make your own stuff (with the blessing of the general of course) then you can go ahead and get taught by me. Summary: No, not really.
EV: Yes I made that.
Ender: That saddens me to know that boss... I didnt think that was the kind of person you were... Brutus bowed to you, and you're going to say he's expendable? Gee... thanks.
I agree with Chib, I want to question this kind of thing even if it isnt my place to do so. I've given a few years of my life into this guild, and it really was a Brotherhood at first. If someone is going to tell me "Gee thanks for serving with us, but you're just another grunt." doesnt sound like a BROTHERHOOD to me. I joined this guild to AVOID that mentality. I was looking for a guild with a fallout- atmosphere that incorporated the BoS and stressed the idea of friendship, commrodery and brotherhood, not super-Nazism. That never really seemed to be an issue, but with Ender's sudden statement, and EV's support, I dont know if you guys will have the stalwart, gentle giant you have come to know and love. confused

I'd like to point out something to everyone. For a long time now, I've known the general ideal of what Ender thinks. However, this is just a philosophy, perhaps a bit cold, but ultimately still a philosophy. Everyone is to some degree or another just a means to an end. Why do you make others happy? Because doing so will make you feel good. Why do you want a girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, wife? To have children to pass on your genes. (Actually, I can effectively argue that everything you do is based upon trying to find a mate, but that's aside from the point. ninja )
This is the same man that you all have served under with pride and conviction just a year ago. Nothing has changed. This does not mean that he doesn't like any of you, or does not have respect for any of you. It doesn't mean that he thinks that you all are tools to fuel the guild. No, it's simply that he takes and expresses a 'matter of fact' view to things, that no one is going to stay here forever, and eventually everyone will be replaced. Generally it's just not polite to express such views as that it offends people. People don't like the impression that they're being used.
The Brotherhood is still the Brotherhood, and that is it's defining token, the bonds that you have with your fellow Brothers and Sisters. The General, the Elders, and to a lesser degree the Squad leader, they are all here to help maintain order and structure so that everyone here may enjoy themselves, enjoy their brethren. No conflict is ever intended, but in the end we are all human, and conflict is bound to happen. The idea is to try and resolve such things, and simply move on. We are here to enjoy ourselves, and should put that priority paramount.
@Brutus- In my opinion, customizing things so that they keep the same stats but are just aesthetically different is the majority of what should be going on there. Making weapons longer, sharper, ect is all fine and dandy. Even custom making things that serve the same function as something else and look completely different are swell. As far as I'm concerned (which means nothing anymore, lol) anyone can go and work on stuff, or commission you to do it, and just ask ahead of time for premission for custom stuff with different stats.

Brothers and Sisters, for the past five hours I have been playing Fallout 3 while speaking to my friends on XboxLive. And I am still not done playing.
