I haven't managed to listen to all the English song yet. I like the Jap. theme and i wish they would have done like they always do and translate it.

Wow, awesome trailer... I really like My Hands, though it made a few lines of dialogue hard to understand in the trailer. sweatdrop For some reason it reminds me of hotarubi, from Tales of Legendia. Which makes no sense, because I can't find anything similar about them.

Sososo, now that we've all played it and s**t, what do we think of the characters? Looking back through this thread is kinda funny - we thought Sarah was Vanille (also, a princess), Snow might have been girly, and Lightning was going to be brooding (hey, we got one right =D).
I love Light - she's strong and focused. I have mixed feelings about Snow - he seems childish to me, obsessed with saving Sarah and Coccoon, but his devotion is cute if a little *****> and he's tough. Vanille might be okay, but so far she's just crazy. Sazh is way more awesome than I thought he'd be. Hope is cute, but if he doesn't get over this Snow thing soon imma just slap him though the TV. Fang - EVEN AWESOMER THAN I THOUGHT SHE'D BE. I can't wait to have her in my party. <33

Let's see... Vanille-Crazy but I love her smile I'm used to crazy people xD Hope-A little emoish/angsty but he just lost his mom who wouldn't be? And he's adorable Snow-Please don't kill me but so far-ANNOYING...Can't say I like him too much.. Lightning-Love her, but can be a little cold. Sazh-He's cool wink Serah-Meh, she alright, very strong (mentally), don't hate her but not fond of her. Fang-Haven't seen much of her'cause I'm stuck on the boss battle in chapter 5 sad but she's seem cool smile

Lightning: She's such a b***h. xd I love her though, because you can tell she really does care, and she's just so soldier it's kinda hard to tell. I like how she can be such a jerk and then be so sweet. She almost reminds me of Squall in a way. Snow: He was pretty annoying at the beginning with how often he mentioned the hero thing, but he's gotten a lot better about it, so now he's really awesome. Vanille: She's so cute. And wow... I really hate to tease people who haven't gotten as far yet, but wow plot twist with her that just changes my whole impression of her. Hope: At the beginning I seriously wanted to punch him out for the whole revenge thing. That feeling lasted for quite a while, actually, but he's getting less dumb now. He's my least favorite, but I don't dislike him anymore. Sazh: I like him way more than I expected. I absolutely cracked up near the beginning when Light was about to Overclock and he just grabbed her and ruined everything. xd Fang: She is indeed pretty awesome! I don't think she's gotten as much focused on her as the others yet, so she doesn't really feel quite as developed to me, but I still really like her attitude and all. Trying not to be too specific with how they've changed because I'm on Chapter 11. sweatdrop I love that they do change, though. I think all of them have significantly so far, except maybe Fang, and they way they have feels really natural and real. By the way, though... Overclock. It hasn't been called that in-game, I don't think, but that's what it is, right? And what do y'all think of Raines? I love him. Yeaaaahhhh, I was thinking that about the whole Serah-or-Vanille thing. xd Reels Hm. I wonder what the point of crystallization is, besides some form of punishment. *points* Irony.

Lightning - I totally agree with the whole like Squall idea since he at least conveys his own feelings and humor through his thought monologues. I was a bit nervous at first, thinking she was going to be just like Cloud (who, although I have not played the game, I know is all pouty and why me? from Dissidia...and that just annoys me), but she does show emotion at time and totally admits her own faults (I love her relationship with Hope which I view as more of a big sister type thing...probably making up for lost time with Serah).
Snow - If he wasn't so hot, I would have already smacked him. His enthusiasim is really cute, I'll give him that, but I swear at times he acts ADHD, his attention span is so short (and I love his run! Who was his motion actor?). His last saving grace is that he acts a lot like Zell, who is one of my absolute favorite characters. I sooo want to make an AMV though with him to "I Need a Hero" (my school just did Footloose, so when I heard them singing that, inspirations struck...and a laughing attack).
Vanille - I seriously thought that she was going to be a more serious character, maybe more like Hope is (trailers can be so misleading). I was so suprised, but it makes sense. You can't have a Final Fantasy game without the over bubbly just girly character (Rydia, Yuffie, Selphie, Eiko, Rikku, and Penelo). I like the deepness of her character though and I think she was developed very well (although her big change was a little sudden, but then again I'm no judge).
Hope - The most controversal character. I'll admit that I really liked him before the game came out while I was scouring websites for information, so I'm a little biased. He was annoying during his whole arc and I've felt the erge to smack him as well, but most of all it just made me sad. I think that's an attestment to Square Enix's developing story telling skills, and well good job. Also, there's finally a character that looks and acts their age! His whole inability to keep up stamina wise was perfect!
Sazh - Only three words...best lines ever!! There's always one character that gets the really good lines (Edge, Barret, Zell/Irvine, Zidane, Wakka, and Balthier come to mind). I also thought that he was going to be a rather serious character (I thought the whole game was going to be serious actually) and while he is at time, he's also just the light in the dark clouds at the beginning of the game. I still laugh from some of his lines. And the baby chocobo? Masterful!
Fang - I was really nervous at first, that her character wouldn't get much light since she didn't really enter the game for a while, but now that she has, I'm really happy with her. She seems to be a rather interesting take on the classic serious dragoon (ah well, excluding Cid Highwind from VII). I haven't quite placed my finger on what that difference is though...I really need to finish the game. I think she brings a lot of fire to the group with her conflicting opinions and fiery disposition. And of course Australian accent!
....I had so much fun with the colors.... sweatdrop
Edit: I just realized that Lightining's character appears to be more like Paine then Cloud (developing a feeling of impending doom from other theorists). Both are masculine and feminine at the same time, fighters first, can be slightly bitchy but also real nice in their own ways, appear to not be team players (but end up playing a big part in things), try to change/forget their pasts, and most importantly, are actually very emotional under their hard shells. I don't know it was just something I noticed (I welcome criticizm and helpful hints though, to see if I can fully formulate this idea).
