Yazoo gave an annoyed sigh, impatiently glaring at Reno. "You just don't know when to quit, do you?" He rolled his eyes, leaning his head back for a deep breath. "Fine. You want to fight? I'll be more than happy to end your life." Lowering his gaze once more, he swept back his long coat, and readied his weapon for the fight.

Saerenna struggled to her feet after catching her breath for a moment. She looked to Reno and then to the downed Marlute, and lastly to the helicopter. It was obvious that they had to get the President away from there as soon as possible. So, she took Reno's distracting of Yazoo to move over to Marlute and cast a reviving spell on him. "You need to get the President and yourself away." She whispered to him, hoping that he'd at least be able to make it to the helicopter.

She nodded. "Yeah, Reno and I can handle it." she told him, trying to sound confident. "What's most important is getting the President out of here. Will you be okay?" She added in a concerned tone, and handed him a hyper. "Take that if you need it." She instructed, then looked warily over to Reno and Yazoo.

Saerenna turned quickly to face the Descendant. "Crap," She muttered quietly, "Now there's two of them." She moved to stand between Marlute and Tess and whispered back to him. "Go now and get the president out, I'll cover you."

Then she turned back to the Descendant in front of her. Thinking this was a good time to get an actual weapon, she held her staff defensively in one hand and pulled her knife out from it's place on her hip with the other. "Yeah, I think we can handle it." She said in what she thought to be a confident voice, though she really wasn't very confident at all.

Yazoo smiled and turned to face Loz, leaning back and motioning a faint welcome with his hand. "No need to worry, but you've missed all the fun..."

Yazoo gave a small laugh and walked back, placing a consoling hand on his brother's shoulder. "It's alright, Loz...don't cry or anything. I'm sure there's still plenty of time for us to get some enjoyment out of this." Giving him a reassuring nod, he leaned his head down a bit to make sure Loz was alright.

Marlute frowned, placing the hyper in his pocket for safekeeping, he nodded reluctantly to Sarenna. "Thank you....I'll take care of President Rufus."

Noticing that the Descendants seemed to be preoccupied, he took the chance to return to the helicopter. "We've spent enough time here." He said, shutting the doors and seating himself next to Tseng. "I think it's about time we made our exit." The once dull pain felt alot stronger now, but the adrenaline rushing throuh his body kept him alert, and he barely seemed to notice it, as he started the helicopter and began to hastily flip a few switches. As the machine struggled to life, he tried to keep his attention focused only on the President's safety, but it proved difficult, as his concern for Reno and Saerenna kept repeating itself in his mind. Tseng seemed to be in terrible agony from his wound, so he knew he had no choice but to take matters into his own hands, no matter the cost, Rufus had to be safe.
