Holy moly, it's dark outside! Adara thought to herself as she crept outside. She saw Kiandra from a distance, heading towards the Quiditch pitch. I thought she was in the common room...doing her homework Addy slowly crept up behind her friend, and trying to stiffle her giggles and match her footsteps with Kia's she followed her for a good ten paces, then when she felt the time was right she shouted, "BOO!" in Kiandra's left ear.

"BLOODY HELL! are you trying to give me a heart attack?" Kia yelled at Addy. It was dark outside and weird things had been happening around this place lately. Kia was terrified.
After she calmed herself down she walked and talked with Addy. "So...you know that I like Nathanial but he is just so shy and he is kinda being a drag. You know what I mean?"
Kia knew that she could confide in Addy. And she knew that Addy trusted her.

After Adara stopped laughing and rolling all around the grass from laughter, she calmed down and sat down. "First of all, I'd like to say NICE HOMEWORK KIA!" she said teasily. "Second of all he seems like a sweet boy. Like, I'm not into him, ha ha, that's a good thing, but he is totally into you. He seems protective. And he totally doesn't like me. But that doesn't matter either." Adara stood up and notioned to go to the Quiditch pitch.

"I know that he is sweet and all but he is just being such a downer right now and he has no right to not like you. You didn't do anything wrong to him. He is really nice and I like him too but I don't know if I am ready for this kid of relationship with him. It was so much easier when we were just friends.
I have started to change and he is still staying the same. Maybe I'll get him to hang out with us and some of my other friends sometime. Show him that it is ok to make new friends.
Ever since his parents died it has been really hard for him to let people in and I know that that is some of the problem and yes he is very protective of me. It gets annoying sometimes." Kia told Addy.
It was weird that she was spilling her guts to this girl she hardly knew.

"Um...Kia." Adara said starting to cry. "He has a reason to not like me. when we were down in Hogsmede...when we weren't supposed to. He heard me talking to Hailee. This girl from Beauxbaton, my old roomate. We were talking about the past, and why I left to come to Hogwarts in my 6th year. And well...something happened that I wish I could turn back time to change. I liked this boy, Damon. We were pretty serious and had been dating for a long time." Adara slowed down not knowing how to put this. She had never told anyone this before, but if she could just have ONE person to confide in, one person to trust. It would be okay, she could let her guard down to one person, and she would survive. "He died." she sniffed back her tears and in doing so sniffed in some snot. Addy giggled for a little bit because of the booger incident, but cried even harder after that.

"I am so sorry," Kia told Addy. "I still don't get how he has a right to hate you. What if your boyfriend dies at your old school. It wasn't you fault. You didn't mean for it to happen right?"
Kia was confused about this whole situation. She was happy that Addy had confided in her.
Addy was Kia's first real friend that was a girl that she could tell everything to. Kia wanted to help Addy through this tough time.

Adara looked straight into Kiandra's eyes. She'd gone this far, there was no turning back. "Kia I didn't mean for it to happen, I loved him. I don't even know if I could love someone like that again. And after he died I changed my perspective, I mean I've always been silly, I've just never been this scared." Addy said looking down for the next part, she mumbled, "It was kind of my fault." she looked up at Kia's confused face and said it clearer, "It might've been...my fault!" She spontaneously hugged Kiandra out of no where, she just needed to, she didn't particularily want to, but she needed it.

Kia hugged Addy back. She really didn't know what to say. She knew now why Nate had been acting so weird. Maybe he didn't know that it was an accident? He could've at least told her why he didn't like Addy.
Kia wasn't mad at Addy at all. She kid of felt sorry for her. She had lost the love of her life. She didn't know what she would do if she accidentally killed Nathan.
She felt bad for Addy because she totally blamed herself and Kia knew that Addy wasn't the kind of person that would do anything like that.
"It is ok Addy. I know that you are not the kind of person who would do something like that on purpose. I will be here for you if there is anything you need or if you need to talk." I have issues too. We can tell each other everything. Ok?"

"Okay" Adara said vulnerably. She had just opened up and it felt different, she could let go a little bit, let a little peice of Damon go. Addy wiped her eyes on the edge of her sleeve. There was a lot of silence between them for awhile as they continued to walk to the quiditch pitch. But it wasn't uncomfortable silence, it was peaceful and understanding. Addy looked up at the stars and said a small prayer. Things would be different from now on, she knew she could change the stars. "If you don't mind, I'll tell you about what actually happened another night," she said breaking the silence and answering unspoken quesitons Addy knew Kiandra had floating around in her head.

"It's alright. I know that you are upset and I don't want to make you more upset then you already are." Kia had so much new information in her head. So much for trying to calm down and be peaceful. Kia wondered what Nathan was up to. Hopefully he was making new friends like she was. Maybe he was doing the homework that she should be doing right now. She felt bad that she hadn't spoken to Nate since they kissed. He probably thought that she didn't like him. Oh Crap! One thing in her life had gone right and she was ruining it. Kia knew that she was Nate's friend and he was probably sitting up in his dorm all by himself. S**t!

Adara decided that she wanted to move on, it was hard, but she was going to make an effort to do just that. "Kia, do you want to go back to the dorm, I'm kind of cold..." she said with a hint of laughter in her eyes, "And you obviously miss your boyfriend." she finished off teasingly. They didn't even make it to the pitch, but that didn't matter. "And I need to get started on that assignment. Who makes these assignments up anyways?" Addy muttered. "Kia...do you think Finn liked me, or did I make a total FOOL out of myself." she said rolling her eyes thinking about what she might've looked like in his eyes.

"Yeah...I think we shoud go back. I feel bad that we kinda left Nathan. I don't know if Finn liked you. You guys just met. At least you can watch him play quiditch if he makes the team, but you had better cheer for us,"Kia giggled.
"It is getting cold out here,"Kia shivered. She hugged herself as they turned around and walked back towards the school.

Their group reached the edge of the forest about an hour later, thanks to some of Arkayle's creative short cuts. Once they broke the trees, the gateskeeper rushed forward toward the kids and Arkayle.
"Heyo!" Arkayle said cheerfully, raising an arm in greeting.
She continued walking past the gates keeper, pulling Fafnir along with her. Her silver hair reflected off the raising sun's light, giving her a much more regal look. Just enough so that the gateskeeper left her be, and turned to the other two kids. Arkayle escorted a very unhappy, and really pissed off looking Fafnir through a side entrance into the school.
Celeste turned away from the quickly walking Arkayle. The woman almost looked as if she were trying to run away from the gateskeeper. Her eyes landed on the gateskeeper, and turned into the big puppy dog innocent ones she had been exercising today.
"We are sorry, Mr. Gatekeeper. We did not mean to go into the woods. A werewolf chased us in there."
A sudden frantic look came to the gateskeeper's eyes, and he grabbed the two girl's arms.
"You have seen Daniel Autum? We must go tell Professor Dumbledore, at once!"
The heavily built gateskeeper, lifted the two girls off their feet, and began pulling them away to the great doors of the school.
"Oh my, oh my, oh my..." he murmured, repeatedly, as he great legs carried the two girls to Hogwarts.

Ria ran out of the forest looking back. She stuck out her tongue and stepped forward but quickly jumped back when she heard something. When she looked where the sound was coming she saw a broken branch where she had stepped. The bottom of her hair had dead grass in it, Ria just shrugged and choose to ignore it unlike those girly girls she saw in hogwarts.
“Hmm women... Are we in trouble?” She asked Arkayle. Ria looked at both Celeste and then at Fafnir.
“Tis was I who thought of going to the forest not there’s.” she took a step trying to advoid the grass and step in the random bald dirt patches.
Once they reached the gatekeeper, Ria did talk nore moved. Her eyes widen as the gatekeeper took ahold of them. Ria tried to lean towards Celeste.
"Whose Daniel?"

Kia walked along the grounds with Jeremy. They were silent but it was an awkward silence it was a content silence. Kia felt happy just walking along not saying anything.
She felt like Jeremy knew that she didn't really need to talk anymore and that he was there for her if she needed it. It was getting cold outside so she rubbed her hands together as she took a deep breath seeing her breath in the air.
She stepped closer to Jeremy for warmth. Not too close to make things uncomfortable.
