Tifa's eyebrows drew together...something wasn't right. Why wasn't Marlene saying anything? Tifa grabbed her black, leather gloves out of a drawer and quietly put them on and started to go downstairs.

"Finally!" Loz said with an exasperated sigh. "All that quiet business was getting on my nerves!" He smirked, excitement gleaming in his eyes. He glanced over at Yazoo who looked confused as to what to do with Marlene so that he could be of help in the fight, and made a quick gesture which was intended to mean 'ditch her', but Yazoo only gave him an even more confused look back... He'd obviously misinterpreted.

"Marlene!!" Tifa jumps off the last few stairs and throws a punch at Loz. "What the hell are you doing here?!"

Yazoo glanced at Tifa, who was struggling in Loz's grip...
Placing his gun to Marlene's head he called out, "Not so fast, Tifa....Unless you want the girl to die."

She kicks her knee into Loz's stomach. Laughing, Yazoo glanced at his companion, "I think she likes you Loz...." Loz didn't even flinch at the kick, as a matter of fact, he didnt even look at her. Smiling, he nodded at Yazoo, "Is that what that means? No wonder they say 'love hurts'...Guess I'd better return the favor then." With those words, he swung Tifa effortlessly into the ground, causing the floor to crack underneath her.

We'll settle this ourselves, or are you too scared to?" "Tifa...." Yazoo said, his voice sounding unusually cold,"I don't think you understand the severity of the situation." He cocked his gun, pressed firmly against Marlene's head. The girl cried, her pleading muffled by Yazoo's hand, as he stared murderously at Tifa. "I don't like the idea of killing her, but do what we say, or I will."

He repeated in Marlene's voice, "Tifa! Help!" he gave another laugh.
