Asmoday looked around, trying to find that thing. Her claws were clenched. She looked around. "Guess I'll have to smoke you out." With that she opened her mouth, fire flew everywhere. She kept it under control, only using it for smoke.

Eldrich stared blankly at Valin once more, "What is that supposed to mean? Are you losing your sense in your lack of sleep?" Eldrich rolled his eyes and continued walking. The faint smell of smoke wafted toward him, he looked back, but did not see the light of fire, he was too determined not to stop on this mission to investigate any further.

In front of Torren, the air began to rapidly turn black, covering a five foot wide by six foot tall area in about two seconds. Then, as the blackness shrinked back in on itsself, a figure appeared. This man was about six feet tall and clothed in all black. The bangs of his mid-back length black hair hung out of the front of his hood and on his chest. Two red lights seemed to shine from under the hood, but these were no lights. These were the man's eyes.
"Well well well. It seems that someone has some minions of sorts."
((yes, this is Jet, but he's disguised so that no one can recgonize him unless the 13th field is used and only Illuminatus can do this.))

"What? The creature shouting? You really think we should turn back, voiding several hours of travel, so that we can see if maybe, just maybe, demons where dumb enough to attack in the forest boardering the most populated and powerful human city possably in all of Thalassa? You really think we should do that!?!" Eldrich was getting annoyed, but really he was just stressed, thinking about the recent string of vampire attacks, and wanting to get this item before they attack again.

Stumbling, shambling they came out through the words. Their balance horrid, their flesh decompt. They paths had seperated and eight wore down to three in one group, two running about together, and the last three all alone.
From the woods, one came out and began to approach Asmoday; another Valin. The other's waited back, still trying to find the flesh they sought.

Asmoday saw something come towards her. She turned towards it and opened her mouth all the way. Fire flew and engulfed the figure.

"The scream came from behind us. For a ranger, you can't tell direction well." Eldrich said, still not breaking his stride. Suddenly he heard a rustling in the bushes nearby. He looked over, he could make out a shape, but it was beyond both the light and his darkvision. He did know that it was humanoid, however, but he couldn't make out what it was. 'Please don't be an ancient zombie.' He thought.
