Daniel walked sullenly in the hall, his eyes constantly wandering to the entrance to the castle. Dad can be here any minute... god, let him not actually come inside! Especially with all these people here!
He scowled at himself. Now you're going down a dark path, Danny, he told himself. Once you start caring about how people think of you, you'll start to betray your own personality. You'll be vulnerable...

Kayla walked into the corridores followed by Jeremy.
"arg, where are we going?!"
Kayla looked back at him and glared
"I'M just wandering, it was your choice to follow me for some reason.."
Jeremy stopped and laughed a bit
"Oh, right"
Kayla rolled her eyes and kept walking.

Pure walked out of the ravenclaw common room,he didn,t know where he was going but he knew he would find something to do. He stop talking to one of the pictures on the wall.

Daniel finally decided that he had to escape, and started heading for the common room.
And then the door opened.
In strode a man in his late thirties. He had dark brown hair, like Daniel's, only he had gray running through it and blue eyes. He was large; in both height and girth, and had an old look around him, like one who had aged years in mere days. However, it seemed that he hadn't noticed Daniel, until---
"Ah, Daniel, my boy!" Orville Autumn roared, putting his massive arm around Daniel's shoulders. "So good to see you again! I trust you got my letter? No matter! We'll get the bastards, eh?"
Daniel glanced into the crowd. Most of the students there were doing their best to hide their laughter. Daniel's expression was one of pure Kill-Me-Now.

Pure turned and looked up from the the picture he was talking to. He look for a quick moment and then turned back to the picture and countinue to talk with it some more.

Kayla, however did not laugh. She looked over at Daniel and what she presumed to be his father and rememberd the letter. She tilted her head a bit. So the man really wasn't lying... Kayla persed her lips. That sounded pretty dangerous to her.... She looked back at Jeremy. Her shrugged and looked back over at the two.

Orville grinned at Daniel. "Now, I've got to report to Dumbledore before I can do any investigation on the grounds. Don't stray too far, eh?" He clapped Daniel on the back good-naturedly, and strode away towards Dumbledore's office.
Daniel waited until he was out of sight, then rubbed his back painfully. "Owww...." He looked up into the amused faces of his classmates, frowning, and pushed his way out of the crowd.

Pure finish his conversation with the picture. He then walked down towards the grounds. "Well hopefully I,ll be a little more fun on the grounds it is very comfortable out there this time of day."

Kayla hessitated and then walked over at Daniel.
"erm.. Hi"
She managed to say. She wasn't really sure what else to say, she could cleary tell that he was pissed off.. Jeremy stood in the backround, not really sure what to do.

Daniel looked over at Kayla as she addressed him. "Hi," he said dully. How many people had seen that? And how many would know by tomorrow?
Clarissa smothered a snigger as she strode out the door. She'd seen the display, and it had provided a moment's entertainment, at least. But at least very few people knew they were related.

Kayla looked around and then back at him
"ar..are you.. Do you have to do what the letter said? is that what your dad is here for?"
She asked finally, with a look of concern in her face.
Jeremy raised his eyebrow. What was she talking about? what letter? his face twisted into a confused look

Daniel glanced at the ground, then up at Kayla. His face was a mask of greif, embarrassment and altogether angst. "Most likely. He's going overboard! I just hope Dumbledore won't allow him to drag me along with him. I mean, I can't hunt werewolves! They're people!"

Kayla perced her lips again and nodded her head
"Yea. I know! and plus, they are dangerous. I can't see him letting a student go out on something like that.."
She sighed and looked around at everyone. Most of them had their backs turned, but she could tell they were stressing to hear their conversation.

"I don't know... you can never really expect anything these days..." Daniel sighed, shaking his head. "I'm getting out of here before he comes back. I think my nonexistant social life has been damaged enough for one day."
He glared at a few students who'd been eavesdropping, and as he walked off, one of them called out, "Hey, Autumn, is your daddy dearest going to drag your girlfriend off with you?"
"What?!" Daniel asked, horrified, shook his head and hurried toward the Gryffindor common room.

Kayla's mouth dropped slightly at this person's comment
"Well I never.."
She said with a shake of her head in discust. She walked over to Jeremy and pulled on his arm.
"c'mon. lets go"
Jeremy stubled as Kayla dragged him quite quickly away. He could clearly tell she was pissed...
