Kaze comes walking down the stairs. At the bottom he ducks and a cat goes wizzing above his head. "Who made these cats fly?"

Daniel laughed once the cat was actually off, realizing how silly he had looked. He then looked over at Kayla, grinning mischeviously. "It appears that the cats just started flying, then stopped, hitting some kid, a window, and my head, thus causing me to fall over. Then you asked me what happened, and I said that it appears that the cats started flying..."

Kayla rolled her eyes
"I do have eyes you know!"
She said with a laugh.
"No I mean.. why did your magic.. stop.."

As Kaze walked to the door to leave he said, "I'll be at the Great Lake if anyone needs me."

Daniel shrugged. "I dunno. Lately it seems that everyone's magic is starting to go... poof." He pointed his wand at another cat. The wand made a noise much like flatulence and started smoking a thick, foul-smelling gas. Daniel glanced around, then pointed at Kaze as he disappeared. "It was him!"

Kayla laughed and shook her head. She opened her mouth but then stopped. She felt.. something.. dreadfull happened... She could feel darkness around her. Anger, fear... worry.. all mixed into one. She sat down and put her hand to her forhead. And then it came to her. These wern't her emotions.. they were her brothers. She got up and looked around
"WHERE'S JEREMY?!"
She yelled out, searching the common room desperatly with her eyes.

"Wha---?!" Daniel stood up as she started shouting about Jeremy. "Kayla, what's wrong?" he asked, suddenly serious. Somehow, he could feel something equivalent to---
"Clarissa!" he gasped, bolting for the portrait hole and into the hallways.

Kayla bloted after him. Was Clarissa with Jeremy?! She must have been. Kayla ran out into the the corridores, towards the trophy room. She didn't know why.... she just knew that thats the hall where she had to go. She didn't stop to ask Daniel how he found out about Clarissa.. She just knew she had to get to Jeremy.

Kayla nodded her head. She entered the common room and placed the flowers and chocolates down. She wasn't sure if she should eat the chocolates or not.. what if they had some sort of love potion in it? She laughed at her thought and shook her head. She saw a small letter and picked it up and read it. she smiled and shook her head. She had never had anyone give her flowers and chocolates as an appolgy.

As soon as Daniel entered, he was swarmed by cats.
"Arrgh! Getoffme!" he shouted at the cats who were clinging to his clothes by their front paws, swaying with each motion. "Damn cats!" He said, lifting his arms which had about five cats attached to each. "Shoo! I don't have any cat food!"

Kayla's eyes widened as she saw all the cats. She looked around and then at her chocolates. She took one out and opened the common room door, throwing the chocolate outside and watched the cats follow it. Once they were all out she slammed the portraite shut and dusted off her hands
"All gone"
She said with a smile on her face.

Daniel grinned, rubbing his arm painfully. "Thanks... some of those cats really have claws." He rolled up his left sleeve, examining four deep gouges in his flesh from their claws. "...Ow. That hurts."
He wipped out his wand, pointing it at his arm, and uttered the incantation for the Close Wounds spell. Suddenly, it backfired on him, the wounds rapidly turning purplish, then green. "Uh oh... that's not good..."

Kayla's eyes widened and she scruntched her face
"er... no.. no it's not.."
She took out her own wand and looked at the cut.
"Here, let me try."
She muttered the same words for the spell. Nothing seemed to happen...
She raised her eyebrow and tilted her head slightly, examining the tip of her wand.

Daniel glanced at his arm, his eyes widening as well. "Oh fu---"
He was cut off when a wave of pain shot through his arm. He gasped, staring at it. The entire arm was turning purple, and he couldn't move it. Yellow fluid flowed freely from the cuts. "Oh damn, I'm properly screwed," he managed to say. "I think this would be the right time to... ow... get to the hospital wing..."

She managed to say, and then she nodded
"Yea.. I think that would be a good idea as well..."
