Most would think Ilia would be crushed in a matter of weeks. And yet, it still stands. Personally, Ilia and my home country are the most beautiful. What about you? Where's your home town?"

"i never knew my home town i was found on the steps of my mentor's home he said that my family died protecting me and they where running from hnters and that my home village was burnt to the groud but he never told me where it was so i could see for my self" he said to her

Let's see... the war between them and Ilia has been going on for several years, and probably started around the time you were a baby... which means... that judging from your story, you were born right in in Ilia, your family was attacked by Sacae warriors, and you were brought to your mentor. However, I could be wrong, but that makes the most sense so far."

Karasi looked at the pendant, and then blinked, as if she couldn't believe it. "Oh wow... now this throws everything way off... This is from an old Nabata house. Nabata was once an independent country, before Lycia invaded and took control. But that was maybe a hundred years ago..." She shook her head, and rubbed her thumb over the strange design. "I can't think of where it would come from... my guess is that the family was from Nabata and left during the invasion to Ilia, where they were killed of by Sacae... still... I think after we train for a while... we'll head to Bern and look at the records of the time. The people there keep accurate notes of anything going on in the world. There should be some information there."
