Corrin looks up when he hears her voice, and stares at Miquelet a moment. He still can't remember much of anything from the night before, but is afraid to ask someone, in case he did something he shouldn'tve. Regardless, he'd have to find out, to see if he needed to apologize to anyone for something.
"I'll be fine. But I was hoping you could tell me what happened last night?"
Corrin felt the blood pounding through his body, and could hear it rushing in his ears. He assumed it was just another aspect of the hangover though. He looked down for a moment, trying to compose himself, and when he thought he was calm, looked up at her again.

Corrin is shocked as he is told what all happened. He knew he had drank too much of the wine, but had no idea he had lashed out like that! And at a stranger no less! He bowed his head, feeling the regret that always comes after doing something bad, even if it was not entirely of your own volition. He knew that he'd have to apologize to Sora, to try to make amends for earlier. Getting to his feet, he focused, and steadied himself. Walking to the door, he squeezed past Miquelet, his arm brushing against her. When it did, he could've sworn that he felt something much like an electric shock run up his arm. He muttered something about finding Sora, and left Miquelet to try to find him.

Sora sat against the wall, a few feet away from the door. He seemed to be looking straight at the ground. He was in hearing range on the door, but he looked as if he wasn't even paying attention to it. Continuing to stare, he senses someone coming closer, but he remained still, unaware of the actual person.

Sora looked over at Corrin. He seemed nervous and he asked for Sora's forgiveness. To this, Sora got up and looked at him. He had a blank stare, deprived of emotion or thought.

"No, I ask you for forgiveness. I knew about Miquelet's situation, and yet I...I practically forced her to come here, even though she was hesitant...I am the sorry one here, and you had a right to do what you did last night. Please, forgive me, if anyone..."

Corrin frowned as he heard Sora's words. Something didn't sound quite right, but it took him a moment to notice what it was. His face went neutral again, and he asked a question.
"Just how long have you known Miquelet, Sora?"

"So you say. I've lived in the same village as her for many years, and although we never really knew each other well, even I know something about her that you apparantly don't. She is unbelievably stubborn. If she didn't want to come here, you wouldn't have been able to convince her. Now, if you say you have known her a long time, you should have realized that by now. So it is by no means your fault, like I said, it's mine. I fear I overreacted, and caused harm to an outsider. Once more, I apologize."

Corrin nodded, glad that Sora harbored no ill intent. Then he looked back at the room, where Miquelet presumeably still was. Deciding to face his dilemma head on, he turned back to Sora.
"You feel.... feel strongly towards her, don't you?"

"I see. That's what I thought."
Corrin knew what Sora was going to say before he had even said it. Somehow, in the pit of his stomach, he knew the truth. And where truth is, there goes propriety. There were many things he could do now, but only one proper choice. He sighed, and knew what must be done.
"Take good care of her, okay? I'll back out this time, but if I ever hear of a time when you make her sad, you'll have to answer to me!"
Without another word, Corrin turns and walks quickly away, needing some time to think and be alone.
