Shiro stood and watched as the needles hit mediocre targets.
"Not bad, but you still need more practise. Vital points in the human body can be quite small, and missin can make all the difference. Keep it up until you hit better targets."
Shiro simply raised his hand and the needles fell from the tree, the posters awaiting new needles.
"Remember to only focus on accuracy at the moment."

Star aimed again and hit the targets for a while more.
She was getting bored but tried not to show it. The wind kicked up as her concentration increased, and her red eyes were intense.

Shiro sighed as her needles fell short of bullseyes. He moved behind her and smacked the back of her head lightly.
"Focus."

Vahn wearily pushed open the Kaze dojo door, his bruised and battered, six year old, muscles, straining with the effort. He had found it at last! The place his family had told him about before the raiders killed them, the Gaian Ninja Academy. This was the place where he would make his dream a reality; the dream of becoming shinobi.
He walked slowly, agonizingly, towards the edge of the actual dojo, feeling all eyes on him as his voice, cracked from weariness, spoke to all of them, "I seek...a sensei." Settling in a cross-legged position, he waited...hoped.

Shiro saw the youngster approach the two, and he held out his hand to Star.
"Keep it up..."
He ran over to the 6 year old, and leaned over, placing his hand on the kid's shoulder and leaning in.
"Are you okay, kid? Come on inside...."
He reached under the child and scooped him up, carrying him into the large dojo. Once inside,he set the child down on a couch and went to get some water.

Vahn looked up at the person who had carried him in. A single tear fell on to his cheek as he was set down on the couch. Nice people existed?

Shiro returned with a glass of water and knelt beside the child, offering the glass of water.
"Here. Can you drink? Tell me about yourself."

The echo of the voice followed Shiro even here.
This is a much better use of your time.

Star stood looking over at Shiro gather the boy up and take him inside.
"I wonder? Something seems strange about him." She said, then walked over to a unscathed tree and leaned against it. She could see the boy's footsteps in the dark ground. They were quite small, she hoped the young boy would be alright.

"Oh,....Hello..."
*Liana watched as the man came in, carrying a small child.......He could be the sensei, she thought.......She approached as the man offered the young boy water.....*
"Umm,...excuse me, but would you happen to be the Sensei of this dojo?"

"He isn't the sensei. Unfortunately I haven't seen him either so we're both kind of stuck for the moment. He's been a great help though." Star said, as she walked over to the girl and then surveyed the boy.

"Came...long way," he gasped, and slowly looked up at the man. "Need...a...Sense.i" Quietly he fell asleep in the mans arms and began dreaming of his home, only to see it die in front of his eyes.

Shior sighed as the child fell asleep after gasping the last few words. So many people wanted to see the Kaze Sensei, yet he was nowhere to be seen.
I guess I'll just have to take the initiative and declare myself substitute sensei. I'll get to help the Academy, the students get training they wouldn't get otherwise, and the seniors get to see that I'm not always a stuck-up jerk.
He set the glass down on a nearby table and ventured back to Star, and another he hadn't met.
"Well, you two, I've got news. As of now, I will be the Kaze Sensei for the meantime, until something is figured out about the real sensei. If any of you don't like the idea, you can leave now, as there isn't goingto be much training in Kaze otherwise."
If the seniors have a problem with what I'm doing, they can discuss it with me and hopefully we'll come up with a plan to get these students trained.

Star said, as she walked over to the girl and then surveyed the boy. "Oh, Hello......My name is Liana....." *She offered her hand to the girl* Star smiled at her, then took her hand in both of hers and shook it. "Star's my name. It's nice to meet you." Star then stepped back a bit and faced Shiro. "I'm fine with you taking over for a bit. Though I wonder how well it'll all turn out. Try not-." She decided just to smile.
