Seth glanced down at the floor for a moment, furrowing his brow at this. He could feel Werlis calming down at the topic of his family, and he knew he had to stay careful of what he said. "I'm sorry to hear that. . . It must be hard." He said quietly.

Werlis closes his eyes. The red in them is almost completely gone now. "It is.. She was a very kind person. Very loving and understanding. Why someone would want her dead is beyond my reasoning."

Seth bit his lip lightly and looked up at Werlis. He had taken the conversation long enough, he wasn't going to risk angering him by digging further. "I'm sorry." He said quietly.

"You needn't be." Werlis gets to his feet slowly. He needs space now. A bit of quiet. "I will send Lina back in to you..." He leaves the guest room.
Not long after, Lina returns and shuts the door quietly behind herself. "Is Werlis ok? He sounded so sad. What happened?"

Seth looked at Lina and walked over to her. "He said something that reminded him of his family. I calmed down after that." Seth said looking at Lina. He was glad she was okay.

"Oh.. He doesn't talk about that a lot.." Lina 'looks' at Seth. "It's a very sad thing for him. He never even got to see his baby be born because of it.. He's kept from having children since then."

Seth nodded his head, though he felt it ironic since Lina couldn't see him do it. He glanced up at her, and looked right into those milky white covered eyes of hers. "Yeah, he told me about it. . ." Seth said quietly. He didn't feel right at the moment, he almost felt sick to his stomach and just wanted to lie down, though he knew he couldn't sleep.

Lina takes Seth's hand and goes to the bed, sitting down with him. She gives him a gentle smile. "You must be tired by now. It has been a very busy day. Would you like to get some rest?"

Seth was a little surprised that Lina had taken him to the bed in her room and sat down on it. He figured it was because it was her room and she knew where her things were so he didn't question it. He sat down next to Lina and glanced at the floor. He bit his lip lightly at her question, and knew the answer he should say, though he knew she might take it wrongly. "I can't. Not only is it impossible for me to sleep. . . But this is your bed. It would be rude of me to lay with you, and it would not go over well with anyone. I'm sorry." Seth said quietly. In truth he never slept, he couldn't. Even if he was to lie down in a bed and close his eyes and think about sleep, his body would never do so. It was strange.

Lina laughs softly and shakes her head. "This is the guest bedchamber within my quarters, Seth." She looks up at him again. "It would not be rude of you to lay with me. Werlis knows that he has left us alone together. Besides, I doubt you of all people would take advantage of me."

Seth glances at Lina and shakes his head again. He knows that if he was going to lay down with Lina, and she was to fall asleep, she would wake up with him out of the bed. He didn't want that to happen, so he would watch over her through the night. "It would be rude of me to leave you in the night. But I will watch over you, nothing will happen while I am here." Seth said.

"I wouldn't mind.." Lina gives him a small smile. "I wouldn't want you to be uncomfortable though, so I wont prod at your choice." She lays down on the bed, her auburn hair spilling around her on the pillows.

Seth is glad that Lina has agreed to his request, though he can't help but feel a little guilty that he denied her. He kept his hand with hers, not about to leave the bed until she has fallen asleep.

Lina lays there for a long moment. Silent. She turns her head to the left and lets her eyes drift closed. Her left hand is up near her face, palm facing up. She lets herself drift off to sleep.

Seth watched as Lina slowly slipped off into the realm of sleep, and he smiled. He leaned over and kissed her gently on the cheek, brushing back her soft hair. "Sleep well." He said quietly before walking over to a chair and sitting down in it. He began to practice with his magic, trying to create a bit of fire in his hand, but it wouldn't come.
((Her father should pay him a visit. X3))
