Introductions huh?

My name is Lophus (Not really, but I do respond to it in RL.)
Favorite colors would be dark red and black.
I'm not goth, or Emo, or fit into really any category.
I'm 23, 24 on New Year's Eve.
Love the Sword of Truth (obviously.)
My wife loves the series also and we both read alot.
I've read the series three times so far and apart from Temple of the Winds, Soul of the Fire, and Faith of the Fallen being my favorite books, I know that Confessor will be right up there as well. At least that's what I've heard from some of Terry's friends who already read it.
I'm also in Sabre's Sword of Truth Guild.
I have been to the Phantom Gathering, met Terry, and have most of my hardcover books of the series signed by him.

Welcome to the Guild.
I can't have any books signed by Terry or meet him because I live in Australia...

Welcome to the guild. I haven't meet Terry either but I would love to. I did write him a letter a while ago and he sent one back to me....which I thought was extremely nice for an author to do

Terry is amazing and very down to earth. If any one wants to get a signed copy of any book in the series, you can order one here. You can even order them to be personalized.

Hi there, folks. My name's Craig and I'm a senior in high school in good ol' Iowa.

I first stumbled across Goodkind last year when I picked up Soul of the Fire. I know, I know. Starting in the middle wasn't very smart of me. So, I tried to hold out for my local library to re-buy Wizard's First Rule, but I got impatient and read Stone of Tears. Then they got Wizard's First Rule, so I read that, then Blood of the Fold, Temple of the Winds, Faith of the Fallen, Pillars of Creation, Naked Empire and I'm currently working on Chainfire.

I can honestly say that Terry Goodkind is the BEST author I've ever read from. His ways of approaching objective philosophy are amazing. I even have Jensenn's quote about love from Pillars of Creation in a sig-like thing that you can see if you take a look at one of my journal entries. That, and the way that he handles the action scenes just all fit perfectly.

Thanks for the invite to the guild!

Fellow Iowan huh! Welcome to the guild Makuta. I think you'll find many a person who agrees with you about your thoughts on Goodkind. Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions or need anything

You're from Iowa, too, huh? What part of Iowa? I'm over here in little ol' Boone.

Fun.

Do you have Phantom, by chance? I'm about halfway through Chainfire right now, so I should have it done by this time next week.

I have to agree with everything you said about Terry and the way he writes. There are very few authors who I like as much as him.
