Death flinched suddenly, one of her grim forms was watching a very grotesque murder, and she absolutely dreaded those jobs. She looked back up at Gordon and said, after finally catching what the owl girl said, "Who's Khane??" Death was always worried about something, and yet, that name, Khane, jogged up something in her memory. Now if only she could remember what...then she remembered. 100 murders last year, very clean, but gruesome. Khane must be a paid killer. (I keep forgetting words...) Khane seemed odd, his only way of money making was by bothering Death, indirectly of course. She multiplied, sending an angel form off to meet Khane. "Never you mind, I remember now. The gruesome beast. Immortal too, sadly." She stated, thinking Gordon would understand.

" Strong Yes. Immortal no. Everybody and everything has a weakness. I do, you do and that guy Khane has to also. And if he even thinks of hurting innocent around me....I guess I'll just have to find that weakness" Gordon said giving a smile, but his fists where clenched in anger. All those people dead...he had no right to was all that Gordon was thinking.

Bob looked up, he had dozed off hours ago. He looked around. Ah, Death had arrived."Khane? weakness? Yeah, he's riddled with em... but you wouldn't be able to find him. See he's smart like that... he hides his weaknesses, secures them behind a wall of pointy objects and land mines, but they're there if you look hard enough. Though he is technically immortal... not the immortal where he cant die, but the immortal where age will never claim him, he regenerates his cells too quickly. He could be 3 or 3000, it wouldn't matter." Bob fixed his Gaze on Gordon."He also dosen't hunt the innocent. Every one of those 100 murders last year was paid for. Do you know how much it costs to have Khane kill a man for you? 10 Million minimum, or he dosen't even load his pistols, never mind cap the b*****d. Now what the HELL have you done if someone is willing to blow 10 million dollars on having Khane kill your a**? And that's 10 million plus expenses mind you, and each of his bullets costs a little over a grand to make, and that's each. Take in food, hotel expenses, gas, munitions, You had to have been a very very naughty boy or girl for Khane to come sliding down your chimney." Bob turned to the barkeep."Jumbo sized burrito smoothie please."

" I see. I can see how that can go wrong with billion dollar corpations. They want another guy dead because he's on his way up and then boom. He's gone for doing nothing. I find it hard to kill...I know alot of people say its a weakness but even so, I try giving people second chances. Its something I can never change about me. Like i guess killing people is something you can never change about Khane..." Gordon said, now looking out the window in the dark, star-filled sky outside.

"I don't care if he's paid, I have to watch each and every one of those murders. AND he's probably one of the most...original...killers I have ever met. Deembodied heads with bullets through the skull. Oh, it just disgusts me!" Death looked at Bob oddly, wondering what the young girl next to him was worried about. If Khane only killed for pay, why would he harm her? _____________________________________________________________ "Bob? Are you listening? I flew accidently into the cabin Khane and some girl were resting in, and Khane locked me in!" Panting, Lixini was even more frantic than ever. "After I electricuted the door off, I kinda insulted him while I was transforming back into an owl." Lixini looked up at Death, frightened for some reason she couldn't figure out.

Bob gave death a curious look."That disgusts you? He puts a round through their head, then takes he head for proof of the kill. I can't imagine how you must have felt during the Holocaust, the Crusades, the Witch Trials, or the Spanish Inquisition... What Khane dose is clean, efficient, and painless... that s**t was one of the most terrible nightmares humanity has ever gone though... And Lixini... He didn't lock you in, he locked you out. And what dose it matter if you insulted him. So long as you didn't stick around, and haven't pissed anyone off enough for them to drop 10 million on having you killed, then Khane is of little to no threat. Just calm down and have a burrito smoothie."

"Burrito smoothie?" Lixini winced, she couldn't eat practically anything, excluding rodents. _____________________________________________________________ "Yes, I am disgusted at the idea of humans killing for money." Death shook, not knowing the value of money. "Killing, for scraps of paper. It is insane!" (i got grounded...)

Bob returned almost instantly."And killing people because someone else told you that they were against your religion, and therefore it was what some deity that you've never had any contact with wants it dosen't? Killing them slowly because of something they were born as, taking them away from their homes, separating families, stripping them of anything even remotely valuable, even fillings for their teeth, and them either experimenting on them, or working them to death while you beat and starve them, forcing them to live in filthy, rodent infested, disease ridden shelters, branded and shaved, and when they finally are thought to be dead, throwing them in an oven with no kind of burial rights dosen't disgust you? Compared to that kind of thing Khane is a saint."

Rae shifted position slightly and leaned forward. This was getting quite interesting A few strands of her black hair fell forward over her shoulder they made high contrast stripes compared to her white skin. She hadnt seen Khane in some time he must be running in a different circle then me.

Gordon looked towards the two fighting people, if you could really call them people. " he's right you know Death. The Holocaust and crusades where terrible things. Atleast Khane kills those who have hurt and killed others. While I don't agree it and would try to prevent it if I was there, its not the same as killing an innocent person who did nothing wrong. Maybe Khane killing them was the divine justice they deserved" he said turning around and walking towards the door.
" Anyways i should head out. It's late and i want to explore the campus more. See ya!" Gordon said as he walked out of the room.

Rae snikered at the words divine justice. This gordon person was quite confuzed. "...divine justice.." she reapeated to herself. She was quite tempted to follow gordon but that wasnt something she usually did. She wiggled her toes through the fabric of her dark grey converse while she pondered this predicament all the while watching the other two.

Death stopped, her Angelic counterpart was fueding with Khane. She giggled. "Khane thinks that if he kills my counterpart he will kill me..." Her eyes turned back to Bob. "It's odd how he thinks killing one copy of Death will kill the current Death. How young are you Projects?" Death looked at Bob curiously, some how knowing he wasn't human. _____________________________________________________________ Lixini thought things were getting creepy, and ran out after Gorden.

"Khane is the old of us and he's three. The youngest of us are still in the tubes, waiting to enter the world. Oh, and Khane dosen't think that he will kill you by killing the copy... he just likes to be thorough with his work. I really wouldn't suggest visiting him again like that though. He's b***h slapped the Christian God on more than one occasion... And all of us Projects are exempt from the Rules of Creation because we aren't in the original plans... or any plans at all... of Creation." He slurped away at the Burrito Smoothie

"Three years since creation. That's long...usually I have to get them after a month..." Death's voice wandered off while she listened a little to her other conversation.

"That's because usually Khane kills them after a month, the reason he's lives so long is because he's a ******** beast. None of us can touch him. The first was the best, the rest of us aren't nearly as deadly. When I look into the future I can even see my own death at his hands... not half bad really, he buys me a burrito smoothie first, and drugs it so I don't feel anything." An oddly happy grin spread across bob's face, he had come to grips with his death months ago.
