Zetan Hm... anyone notice that Gaia has become a lot more Firefox-happy? Profiles v2.0 actually looks better on FF than on IE. Everything used to be the other way around, without exception.
I hadn't noticed because I refuse to use FF... I have an unexplained vendetta against Google that I just can't shake... But Preston uses FF (sometimes just to piss me off, I think...) so whenever he's on I'll check it out. But I think FF is sponsoring Gaia now because I specifically remember seeing an ad for it while I was posting.

Hey all,
Haven't been on the guild for a while, so thought I'd stop by an say hi. I've been spending most of my time working and snorkeling--saw a little octopus this weekend, which was pretty cool. And got trapped between two turtles for a little while, which was even cooler.
Still getting used to the new layout--so . . . much . . . white!

Hey, everyone's allowed to despise something for absolutely no rational reason whatsoever. I myself have a consuming hatred for Philips screwdrivers--damn the pointy little bastards!!

Shun Azhriaz Hey, everyone's allowed to despise something for absolutely no rational reason whatsoever. I myself have a consuming hatred for Philips screwdrivers--damn the pointy little bastards!! I usually try to come up with a somewhat-rational reason for all of my hatreds, myself.

Some of us don't need logic, reasoning and sanity y'know--it just holds us back. One another note, IT has happened. My daughter is now dating and deeply into the chaos that is first love. she and That Boy talk for so long on the phone they run down its full-charged battery. She and That Boy hold hands, and hug, and (rumor has it) make smoochie-face when I'm not looking. . . . . . . I, of course, am having great fun pretending to be the overly-protective father and teasing both of them mericlessly.

lolz yay! My dad actually doesn't care what I do, but as soon as I said I had a myspace account he was worried i was going to get raped.. jesus.. I;m the best marksman in my family and own a bunch of random blades.

Foxmon_dt lolz yay! My dad actually doesn't care what I do, but as soon as I said I had a myspace account he was worried i was going to get raped.. jesus.. I;m the best marksman in my family and own a bunch of random blades. *totally just sent you a Myspace friend request*

My sister has been known to run down the battery on one, grab the other, put the first one on it's charager... then repeat. Good thing we have flat-rate calling anywhere in the US, otherwise she'd hafta find some way to pay for it.

A date has been set for mine and HeroicStar's wedding!
AND POCKYISM STAFF IS INVITED (as well as a select few members not on staff)!
The date is June 9, 2007.
So get your Bags packed and reserve plane/bus tickets if you can!
I'm not going to be devistated if you don't show up because I know most of you are young and probably can't travel to California so easily. However we will be there to pick you up from either LAX or Bakersfield Airport depending on which airport you fly in to. (Preferably Bakersfield cause that's like three miles from my house but whatever is cheepest for you!) Unless you take a bus, then you'll have to contact us and tell us where you'll be.
I'm telling you nearly a year in advance so that you have time to fundraise money for a plane ticket. I can't aford to pay for everybody I want to come and I don't want it to come straight from your pocket so bum for cash, have a carwash, sell candy... Do whatever it takes to get round trip tickets to California and back!
If you're in Canada you'll probably need to bring a passport.
I'll keep you updated... PM me if you know you're coming... I'll get your addresses from you later so I can send you invitations when the time comes.
