Torture is fun ^^ And you can always argue, its not illegal if you dont get caught.

*is scared of thy Dean of Law* Hehehe, his stance was very conditional, it's not like all of a sudden, you're going to be tortured by him.
Conditional? How so?As Mini sort of said. Basically, he though that torture is a legitimate form of extracting evidence that could save lives, if it is known that this person is hidding something, but refuse to explain. If they aren't tortured, it could means hundreds or thousands dead, if they do, those lives could have been saved. That was basically the scenario he had envisaged.

TrjnRabbit Torture is fun ^^ And you can always argue, its not illegal if you dont get caught. But then by that argument, anything you do is legal, as long as you get away with it. I think you have an issue with interpretation there.

WellzY, that was a joke response, the issue the Dean of Law brought up is an ethical one, something my logic teacher brought up last year in a similar manner.
I think the example he brought up was to do with killing, but the point made was not really about the legality or morality of the issue, its to show that nothing is concrete right and wrong.
