I deleted my charecter and made a new one. The only thing you can't change is the gender.

When it was done I still all had my clothes and cash. I never had a house to begin with so I dont' know about that. You just have to put your clothes back on your charecter.

go to your main profile screen. On the lower right there is a read button that reads "delete charecter". Push it. It deletes the charecter. Then click where your charecter used to be to build a new one.
