"Oh, Ariku-sama, this is wonderful news!" Kaida sid, dancing around. She pounced on her in a big hug. "Congratulations!" She smiled.

"So, tell me, do you have a danna? Or a boyfriend?" Kaida asked in a dreamy tone. She sighed and drew her hands to her heart. "Oh, being a geisha must me wonderful!" she exclaimed. "I can't wait until I become one," she smiled. She had stars in her eyes as she squiled.

Ariku laughed, "No, no... I have no boyfriend nor a danna, yet." she said and smiled.
"By the way, you are able to become a maiko now. I believe that you are ready. You will be able to start classes." she said smiling and giving her a hug.

Kaida stood stunned at the news that was just given to her. "I-I'm a maiko?!" she said, trying to convince herself. When reality set in, she fell into a deep bow. "Oh, Ariku-san, thank you SO much!" she cried out. "I am forever in your debt!" she said bowing again. "I thank you from the bottom of my heart!" She stood and gave Ariku a hug. "So, what's my first duty as a maiko?" she asked, eager to begin her trining as a maiko. "Classes? Got it!" she smiled. "May I go today and sign up?" she asked.

"Yes, as soon as you go and fill our your application I will sign it on my way to the tea house. You will be going there too. Congratulations." she said giving her friend a hug.

Kaida smiled. "Are there lots of people?" she asked. "How big is it?" Kaida was in awe, she wanted to know everything there was to know.

"It is a pretty big tea house where many of the geisha and maiko. I went there when I had just become a maiko. So I believe you can make it." she said and smiled at her concern.

"Well, It was my favorite day at the tea house. We were all drunk...." she said laughing, "But we performed and played games. And, just talked. It was wonderful." she said still giggling.

Ariku looked at her surprised. She blushed, "Are you sure you want that? I mean I would love to... But, I just haven't been a geisha for long... But, if it is what you want and you are okay with my inexperience. Then, I would love to." She said sort of tripping over her words.
She knew she would love to have Kaida as a younger sister. She just hoped that she had the ability to teach her what she needed to be taught.

Kaida's eyes widend at Ariku's reply. "You really mean it?" she gasped. Kaida embraced Ariku and thanked her a thousand times. "I don't mind your inexperience," she said with a smile. "You fooled me," she added. Kaida bowed to her sister. "Onee-sama, I will make you proud!"
