I'm so glad that we're in May but at the same time I wish things would slow down a bit. I have nothing for the new baby except for the crib at the moment. A friend of mine is going to give me a whole bunch of gender neutral clothes and as for the stroller and car seat, I'll probably have someone run out and buy it once I give birth. Seems weird but I don't want a gender neutral travel system.
Regardless though, I'm so excited! I have my graduation ceremony in two weeks. I'll be receiving my diploma being exactly nine months pregnant. I hope there aren't too many stairs. xd
Otherwise I'm just taking it easy and finishing up my last two months of classes. I can't wait for the arrival of my little one next month. 3nodding

Everyone remind me of your due dates again? I don't want to scroll back through the thread(s) and look now. I want to know who to expect when! We all seem to be semi-close from what I remember!
My due date is June 25th, and I found out today the c-section is scheduled for June 12th if I don't go into labor before then. That's in only 5 weeks! I thought it was going to be June 19th because they schedule c-sections for the Friday before due dates, but my doctor informed me today she's going to be out of town then, so she wants to do it before she leaves.
My OB also learned today about the insulin I've been taking for my gestational diabetes (I guess my diabetic nutritionist hadn't informed them!) and so instead of my quick appointment today, they kept me 2 hours for another ultrasound and a stress-test, which I'll have to repeat every week now until my delivery. And today of all days I decided to bring Amber with me because I thought it would be quick! She was surprisingly good though, except Amber wanted to crawl on me while I was hooked up to the monitors.
Congrats on your graduation coming up so soon FreeYourSoul! Will you miss much of your classes, do you think? How difficult to have classes still right at the end of pregnancy and when you're due!

Thanks Mystic! from reading through your post it's possible our little ones may have the same birthday. My due date is actually June 14. Everyone keeps telling me that they see me giving birth before then though. We'll see what happens, With my first I went 4 days over the due date.
I remember getting the stress tests done at the end of my first pregnancy due to Malikai's arrhythmia. I hated having to sit in the bed for such a long time, it was always so uncomfortable for me. Here's hoping and praying that I won't have to worry about that this time.
Regarding my classes, I don't think I'll be missing them much, though there are a few people I'll miss. I had fun attending the classes. The teachers are great and made the learning experience less boring. If it weren't for that I think I'd have fallen asleep in quite a few classes.

Oh man mystic, you're getting close!
Awesome job on the classes Free!
I'm due July 13th. Truth be told, I don't "feel" I'm going to make it to the due date. Of course, with babies you never can tell. I just want to make it to the June 28th deadline so when/if I decide to get the tubal, I'll have the waiting period out of the way.
I'm having a heck of a time taking it easy though. Doing groceries with my 2 other ones in the heat wore me out! Where's my nesting phase?!

I don't walk often due to the pain I feel in my pelvis the next day, but i did have to run errands yesterday. Now since they were all in the same vicinity, I decided i would just walk from one spot to the other. Keep in mind this whole walk probably took no more than 15-20 minutes. I was dropped off at about 10 am and had finished everything I needed to do by 10:30. The only thing left was my prenatal appointment, which I needed to be picked up for. By the time I got home about an hour later, I was beat. I fell asleep before my son did and it was his nap time! xd
I'll be honest, I don't exercise. The closest I get to exercise is walking up and down the stairs to get in and out of my third floor apartment, as well as the stairs at school. We have elevators at school, but I'll only use it if I'm in pain.
I tried finding an old yoga book I had with some prenatal yoga but it seems to have disappeared. confused

I'm actually more physically comfortable now at 34 weeks than I was a month or two ago when my pelvic pain was at its worst! It seems to have gotten better. I've also lost about 4 pounds on the diabetic diet, and I feel like I have room for this last month's growth, when before I had my doubts! I think her head has dropped too, which makes it appear I have more room (at least at the top!)
That would be cool if we delivered around the same time Free! And luna, you're only a month later! I have a sis-in-law due a month after me too, and she's going to go on our 30-hr-each-way cross-country road trip to the beach the family makes every summer (this is the first summer we'll miss it!) and be back 2 weeks before she's due! She says it's ok if the baby arrives while she's out there, because her mom will be with her, and that's what matters!
My exercising has decreased a little since I first found out about the gestational diabetes, when I was making sure to take a 30-40 min walk every day (except weekends) or do Wii Fit. Now if I do Wii Fit maybe once a week and do some basic leg exercises and side stretches and pelvic tilts a few other days, I feel that's enough, maybe because my steadily increasing dosages of insulin are mostly keeping my blood sugar in check, although the dosages need to be upped every few days as my hormones increase!

So my graduation ceremony went great, and now all that's left is to finish classes; at least that what I thought until I had my Level 2 ultrasound done this morning. The doctors are concerned about the baby's growth and are trying to decide whether or not to induce my labor on Monday. They told me that more than likely it will happen, so bring my bag along to my prenatal appointment. I honestly am not corcerned about the baby's growth, even though he/she is just a little over 5 lbs. I currently weigh in at 96 lbs and stand tall at just under 5'. My son was born 5 lbs 15 oz (and I went four days over my due date with him).
I was talking about it with my mom and she told me she never made big babies either. Her biggest was over 6 lbs (my eldest sister), and I (her third child) happened to be her smallest at just under 5 lbs. My older brother and baby sister actually fell within the 5-6 lbs range. My mom was also thin growing up (though I think she put on a little more weight than I did while pregnant) and she's only a few inches taller than me.
In a way I'm excited, though at the same time, I wish they would wait until my due date. It's great that I'll be able to hold my baby sooner than expected and finally know whether the baby is a boy or a girl, but the great thing about my due date was the fact that it was so close to the end of the semester and less work I would have to keep track of with a new baby at home.
On top of that, my sister had been planning a baby shower for me for next weekend. I told her not to wait until the last minute, but she never really listens to me anyhow. She actually knows the sex of the baby and was probably going to surprise me with a color theme for the shower. Now it gets to be a welcoming home party and no one will be unsure of the baby's gender. xd

Well, it looks like this was written just a day shy of your son's actual birth! Congratulations again!
You're just a wee thing! 96 pounds, wow! I've gained 30 pounds so far with this one, and gained 36 and 32 pounds with my others. I measure my girth the same as with the other two, and am about the same end weight!
My family and hubby's family are all small too. I was 5 pounds 12 oz and he was 5 pounds 5 oz. My oldest was 6 pounds 10 oz and my current youngest was a mere 2 pounds 12 oz, but she wasn't growing properly and was in distress and needed out! At last week's ultrasound they measured this one at 5 pounds 4 oz so far.
I just found out last night that another of my sisters-in-law found out she's pregnant. That makes FIVE of us pregnant at once, which is a new record. Two of us are due this week or next! 9 days and counting til my c-section!

Heh I came in here right after I read the annoucement of your little one!
Yeah, looks like 40 lbs is going to be what I gain with all mine. It's funny, speaking of baby size, I've got the "largest" of all my mother's kids and all my nephews/neice! Not sure how that happened, but everyone is convinced this one will be "huge."
Eek only 9 days left? eek Ya'll are abandoning me in here. rofl

Awww, not abandoning you, I'll still be here after too!
My sister-in-law who is due on Sunday is currently at the hospital, hopefully in the good progress of labor! I haven't heard much yet, except that she's dilated to 6 and 90% effaced and in some pain.
7 days and counting, and I'm glad I only have a week left on this insulin and testing my blood sugar so often, and then maybe I can break into those Easter chocolates I set aside for so long! Gosh, I wonder if I'll go all crazy and wind up taking forever to lose the baby weight! xp

I'm still around... sort of. It's been a bit hectic at home with the boys. Malikai is quite jealous and has gotten into the habit of whining for absolutely everything and nothing at all. I know it's just because he sees that when Ezequiel begins to cry I usually pick him up to check if he needs a feeding, burping or diaper change, and he wants attention as well. I just really hope he gets over this phase sooner than later.
I'm trying to incorporate him into everything I do regarding Ezequiel. I'll hold him while he burps him, he'll bring me everything needed for a diaper change, or even on his own he'll try to put socks on Ezequiel and cover him with a blanket. (He's still trying to get the hang of putting socks on himself, so most of the time he just gives up and covers him in the blanket. xd ) He's being a good big brother so far, though sometimes he'll get mad and take the baby's blanket, so of course I take his and give it to the baby. That of course straightens him out seeing as he loves his blanket.
Being a mother of two sure is interesting.
Enough about my little one's though. Mystic your C-section is tomorrow isn't it?
Luna, how far along are you?

Yep! My c-section was the 12th. Everything went well, and I wasn't really nervous. The spinal block took, although it was about 50/50 whether it would cover fully due to the narrowing of my spinal canal and disc problems, so I didn't have to go under general anesthesia. They called Jason in, and not a minute later, she was out! It was so quick! I didn't even know they had already been cutting me. It felt like they were still prepping me.
The pediatrician let me see her and talk to her and kiss her for a good 4 minutes while they were stitching me up. I thought they'd just let me take a quick look and say hello and then whisk her off! I was nice and lucid during recovery and still numb from my torso down, so it was a nice time to just be happy and think about everything.
I'm in a good place now on pain medication and in a sort of numb, happy euphoria. My girls are all so sweet and so beautiful and getting along pretty well. Amber's not really jealous, and Jade wants to hold Lacey every chance she gets.

things will get easier Free, I promise! It's just adjusting to each changing dynamic! xd
I'm 37 weeks now. I measured smaller than last week, so they're doing an u/s to be cautious. No biggie, more than likely I've either dropped or he's being uncooperative (and being my kiddo, probably the latter!) Although, I've neverbeen able to tell when I've dropped at all.

Today would have been my due date had I not had a scheduled c-section. 3nodding
My main sign of dropping what that I'd feel sharp pains down low when she'd move after she was dropped, like sharp cramps. Also, if I paid attention, I think the slope of my tummy under my ribs was different, but I'm not 100% sure of the change.
Hopefully that's just what it is the baby's growing ok for you!

I'm still here, but if I don't deliver this weekend I'm getting induced Monday.
They were worried about him being skinny. The NST was fine, my fluid levels fine, I guess he just wants real food to grow, lol.
