Joan gripped her sister tightly. Brushing her own tears away. "Good, anything happen while I was sleeping? Other than my body warmer ran off?"

"Well...it looks like Shadow and Rykon are a couple now," Shay said, looking over to the pair out of the corner of her eye. She kept her arms around Joan tightly, not wanting to let go just yet. She wanted to make sure she was okay.

Joan held her tightly, feeling joy that her friends are happy. She purred happily. She held on to Shay, knowing that she needed it. "Wonderful, I'll have to congradulate them when I see them."

Shay smirked and said, "Yeah, if you can catch them between breaths." She thought, 'truly!' She still held onto Joan, nuzzling her sisterly somewhat.

Shay smiled and said, "Yes, I missed you very dearly." She closed her eyes, not feeling as tired as before now.

Joan felt Shay's weariness and set her down, covering her with her cloak. Joan sat beside her, playing with her hair.

Shay's smile turned to one that showed tiredness. She kept her eyes closed and said, "Thank you very much sister." She felt relaxed, almost like she didn't have a care in the world.

"It's alright, dear one. I'll never leave you, I'll protect you always." She changed into her cat form and nuzzled against her cheek, purring softly.

"Thank you so much. I promise the same to you," Shay said tiredly, not opening her eyes. She soon began drifting in and out of a light sleep.

Joan placed her paws on Shay's head. "You are light sleeping, deepen your thoughts, and let them wander." She spoke softly to her.

Shay slowly exhaled as a vacant expression entered her face, meaning she was drifting further and deeper into her sleep.

Joan nodded encouragingly. "Very good, you need to things go. Your mind is filled with such emotions. So much trouble, pain, and love. I understand your pain and hopelessness. Let poor out."

Shay continued sleeping, turning onto her side, her face towards Joan. She was breathing slowly, her eyes closed tightly. She felt as if she were in heaven at the moment.

Joan released the breath she was holding in. Her stomach felt strange, pounding kind of.
