Leo jumped a little at his brother's voice, not quite expecting Asher to be right behind him once he entered the room. "Yeah, I hope you don't mind. I didn't know if Sam would come over the next morning or what, and I didn't want him to find the two of us in bed together. You know...wrong impression." he said softly, though he didn't have much of an interest in Sasha that way. Leo smiled when he heard Asher jump right onto the bed and soon joined him, though he climbed into bed instead of jump in since he didn't know where Ash had landed and didn't want to hurt him.

As soon as Leo joined, Asher gathered him into his arms and held him tightly. He felt as if he needed to assure his brother that they were inseparable and he needed to be able to feel that bond. He had to admit that he did wonder what the future had in store for them. At the organization's location, Leo might be busy training to control his visions and Asher might go back to school or at least get another job. They might not have as much time together as they do now.

Leo smiled and settled into the bed next to his brother, glad to feel his older brother's warmth. "I'm glad you're back home." he said softly as he allowed his eyes to slowly close and buried his face in Asher's chest, though not quite falling asleep just yet. The memory of Asher almost kissing him crept into his mind and now he couldn't keep the excitement from reaching his heart. But for now he wouldn't say anything about this.

While Asher waited for Leo to sleep, he was stuck in his own little conflict. When he was still at the hospital, with no one to talk to, all he could think of was his brother's feelings for him. It also troubled him, seeing as they were brothers and both males, and Leo was only thirteen, hardly the right age to comprehend romance. The only conclusion Asher could come to was that his brother was confused and simply had a brother complex. That had to be it.

Leo's mind continued until he wasn't entirely interested in the topics his mind couldn't help but to wander to. Growing tired and not caring for his deep though, Leo eventually fell asleep for a couple hours.

Once Leo was finally asleep, Asher took a look at his face. He had said a few times that his brother was cute, but he was starting to notice just how cute Leo was. Perhaps, if Leo was a girl and they weren't related... Asher shook the thought out of his head. Big brothers weren't supposed to think like that. He was no pervert.

Leo muttered and stirred slightly in his sleep but otherwise he was peacefully resting for the next hour or two. After some time Leo woke up and found himself still in Asher's bed but his brother wasn't by his side as he hoped. "Ash?" he called as he go out of the bed and rubbed his eyes gently, but there was no response from in the bedroom. "Ash?!" he called louder, hoping Ash was at least in the apartment somewhere.

As time had passed and Asher was unable to sleep, he had gone to watch the news. It was around the time Leo woke up that he saw something shocking: the kidnapper who the brothers had encountered had died in the hospital. Apparently, damage from a pipe had damaged his brain to the point that it could no longer function properly. Asher suddenly felt nauseous then. The thought of killing anyone sickened him even if the person deserved it.

Leo still didn't hear a response from his brother but he did hear the tv on downstairs and thought he might be watching television. He slowly made his way downstairs and heard the tv talk about the kidnapper. "Anything new about him?" he asked, apparently missing the headline as the news channel went right to weather.

Asher had a hard time recovering just enough to answer Leo. "He's dead," he managed to say before his nausea returned. "I can't believe this! I just committed a homicide!" His reaction was probably as bad as that of a someone who saw a dead and horribly mutilated body.

Leo wasn't entirely phased by this news, he was actually glad for the man to be dead but Ash was taking this a lot more seriously than Leo was. "You did it in self defense, to protect us." he said softly as he sat beside Ash to comfort him. "I think everything will be okay."

"No matter how you look at it, it's still a homicide! Ugh, I'm gonna be sick!" Asher clutched his stomach and tried to regain his composure. It was fine. At least there wouldn't be a trial unless someone decided to charge him with murder or manslaughter or whatever it was unintentional killers were charged with nowadays.

Leo reached out toward Ash and placed his hands on his brother's shoulders, unsure of whether or not he was looking into Asher's eyes. "Now listen to me. Everyone deserves a right to protect themselves. If you didn't do what you did I---" Leo paused for a moment as he remembered back to that moment when he felt the warm blood spray on his face with each blow and remembered the panic he felt. "...I wouldn't be here....if it weren't for you."

As glad as he was that he had been able to protect Leo, Asher still felt the nauseating effects of remorse. "I could have just knocked him out and left him there for the police. A couple of bashes with the pipe would have sufficed," he said. "If only you saw what was left of his head! That isn't ordinary defense, Leo. I lost control!"

Leo couldn't argue with that, his brother had lost control and Leo knew it. What bothered Leo the most was that he couldn't say anything that would make this situation okay. Ash wasn't listening to him, and strongly disbelieved that Ash did this in self defense. There was a knock at the door and Leo didn't hesitate to answer it.Elsa barged right in, appearing out of breath with Rin right behind her as usual. "We don't have any time, we need to rush your move-in date you guys! We have movers in the parking lot with a truck and we're ready when you are!" She said as she noticed the blank expressions. "Haven't you guys been watching the news!? For Christ's sake, turn on your television!!" she yelled, obviously oblivious to the television which was indeed turned onto the news channel."Police men are on their way......They know the kidnapper died." Rin said softly, blushing a little as she spoke and almost embarrassed that she had said something. "If you don't come now.......the police men will take Ash away." she continued to say in a very soft voice.
