Startled a bit by all this, then Xavier's sudden and soft touch made her flush lightly this time across the bridge of her nose. "n... no not at all, i bit the inside of my lip when I nosebutted her. T... that is all Sir Xavier Dragon." she said in a slightly stuttered voice.
This reaction, and attentivness on both parts made Solartic raise an eye brow and smile in a knowing manner. "Thank you for your concern to our new trainee. She was supposed to be delivered early this morning to the North shore cliffs, along with her luggage. We knew as soon as a strange little man placed the trunk on the beach and didn't leave at all, until one of us came. That she wasn't with them. He explained everything, though he was quite worried about what your grandparents would say about your actions young miss. But I think in this case, you saved 150 + lives. You chose right, considering it was your first battle, and you used your abilities. Knowing the cost that came with them." HE said in a paternal voice.
Kneeling down he checked over Sphynix, clucking his disapproval at her. "Well i know one area we wont really have to school you on, is hand to hand with out a weapon. Though I heard you are quite the user of daggers, knives and short n long swords missie. And that you have an unusual weapon for a female. A three headed 250 lb hand mace, that most men couldn't pick up. On top of it, you have Nervun, who might be cursed, and a smart mouth if my memory serves me right. Plus the gifts of our clan.. .well all the gifts. and healing techiniques from your father. Any ways get your stuff it is time to go." Solartics voice was interested on this many notes.
"Yes elder, but umm... Were is the Elder Lady Lunaris at?" Came a shy reply from Sionet.
A thin unamused smile crossing his lips as she replied in a bland tone that resonnated clearly. "She is informing some one else, an old intimate friend from years and years ago. As for you Great Dragon, I will return her to you with Nervun fully repaired in two weeks time. Hopefully you and the others she has come in contact with wont miss her too much. IT is a shame that the moon stone in Nervun is cracked, that is what is gonna take the full two weeks to fix."

A soft laughter like the wind through the trees echoed all around Osiris and Dark. "it has been too long Dark my dear. I mean I have missed you greatly since the last time I saw you." came a distinct female voice. To accompany it a woman of 5'6" walked out of the mist as if she was formed by it. Her hair still blond and green highlight, though it was laced with silver gray hairs. She looked to be about in her early forties, with laughter lines just starting to appear around her eyes, and mouth.
the plain gray robe that blended in with the mist so well, did nothing to hide her well shaped body. "yes yes it has been to long. All us woman of the clan miss your talent, prowress and magnitude at the games. But that isn't why I am here. I am here to get the child, My brother Solartic is doing that now. " She said as she practically floated over to Dark and kissed him softly and more then familiarly on the cheek.
Stepping back she got a good look at the both of them. As she awaited a greeting from Dark. ((1st 2 post on 100th page! Whoot!))

(I think I might be going to watch a movie soon, sorry and I can try to be on later.)
Xavier nodded slightly and released her, turning back to the older male standing in front of him. He listened to what they had to say, then frowned when he mentioned taking Sionet for so long. Before he could say anything another woman appeared, and he slowly eased himself closer to Sionet. "Sir, I do not mean to intrude or be disrespectful, but if you would allow it I would like to accompany Sionet during the two week's time.." he said in his smooth, velvity voice. Apparently Xavier had no intentions of leaving her, at least not at the present time.

{{that is ok. I need to sleep i am working the graveyard shift again. So I should be on tomorrow afternoon/night. and Dark isn't near us anymore. He is some where else in the forest. About to fight w/ twilight's minion Osiris.}} Blinking a bit at this, The man laughed at this. "But don't you have another concern, that should be coming back to you in the company of fellow travelers my dear dragon. Along with a few more. " he said, his voice booming with amusement. This whole time Sionet was wondering over to her stuff, she left her torn and bloodied shirt there on the grass. She hefted her bulky ruck on to her shoulders.
Picking up her short sword and the fore mentioned mace, she clipped them to hidden loops in her pants seam. carefully she lifted New Moon who seemed to sigh with great relief as she was nestled in her arms. The stone turned from it's milky blue-white to a contented yellow. "You can't Dragon Xavier, no outsiders are allowed into the clan. and with great reason now. Because of that demonic b***h Twilight. She has reached far and wide to gain her powers, that clan is a shelter were Sionet will be utterly protected. Besides, didn't you mention another female earlier who was of immediate concern to you. Some one who is closer to you then this girl here?" He replied some what snidely.
This information and reaction from new moon really caught Solartics attention. "Hmm she just amuses him huh? That sounded like protective jealousy if I have ever heard of it!" he though to him self before replying to Xavier. "Nervun is right. It would take all 12 of us council elders. While I am sure the female's would have no problem at having you there, since you'd look like you'd enjoy the games. The rest of us would have our reservations. Though picking the mind of your kind would be more then reason enough for me to say yes, me and Lunaris are the two youngest on the council." he finished just as Sionet came to stand by him patietnly waiting. her face looking a little sad and forlorn at having to say good by.

(Alright, I try to be here. I know he isn't, but you posted it..x.x )
Xavier made a face at his request being turned down, and he continued to do so until his eyebrows creased and his lips curved into a frown. He turned his head to look at the sword, bearing his teeth as a growl left him. Xavier's anger bristled at the mention of Twilight; it felt as if he was being denied because he may be one of her minions, or that he could not protect Sionet properly, which caused his body to tremble from disgust and anger towards the sword. "Who said she is of concern to me? She is Shade's companion, not mine. Foul sword, your assumptions cause me much irritance; you should not let your jealousy rule the words that you speak." Xavier then turned his harsh glare to Solartics, the animosity dying down when he did so. He gritted his teeth as he stood there, impatient and angry before he quickly turned around, his long hair following and his jewelry jingling from the sudden movement. "Have your way, if you must." he said, hating the fact that for once he couldn't have his way. Xavier turned his head a little and out of the corner of his eye he could see the saddened Sionet, and once again felt the urge to snap her smart-mouthed sword into pieces. But even so, the look on Sionet's face made him want to fight for the right to go along with her. He gave a defeated sigh and tried to relax as best he could before turning back to Solartics. "You are positive that I am not welcome to come with you and your people, then..?" he asked, the anger slowly fading away as he stood before them.

Ted's purring became much deeper as he transformed into a jaguar. As he gently situated Hope on his back, he cocked his head towards the others, almost as if asking where they were to go now. After all, he had no vocals cord capable of pronouncing human words.

Hope gently clung onto Ted, grateful that she wasn't left completely alone. She shut her watery eyes and turned her head so that her face was buried in his spotted fur. "Th-thank you Ted.." she murmured, her voice muffled as her slender fingers softly touched and stroked his fur.

Startled by the sudden appearance of another in the clearing, Darks surprise quickly turns to pleasure. "Lady Lunaris. Truly it has been far too long, and far too much has occured in the mean time. Unfortunately, it would seem that news must be exchanged later. I am currently engaged in another activity at the moment." He turns to gesture to Osiris.

((sry had a 3 day weeekend and have been busy im surprised im able to be on today because i got sick so i couldn't do my plans...))
Fayt watched as Hope tried to fall asleep on Ted. "So we wait. How long do the effects take place anyways?" Fayt asked wondering how long they need to keep a watch from a tree.

"I was told half an hour." Shade looks up at Fayt. "Though I don't particularly trust the source of this information, I think it would be best to wait at least that long, but we should find some way to move soon. There are others who are waiting for us to return."

Her face not hiding how she felt at Xavier's tone, reaction and words. It almost made her cry, but she just stood straighter, back become stiff and formal. opting to not question the why of his words, she just pretended indifference. "I guess I will see you then when my training is done. You take care Sir Xavier Dragon, and be in good health." She said in her soft voice but now there was nothing but formality in it, as one who'd sit in a noble house. She bowed at the waist.
This reaction elicited a shocked gasp from New Moon, who knew how much she hated to be like that. Solartic tilted his head and smiled softly at her and the dragon's reaction. "I will come back and let you know if you may visit her, but it may only be twice during the whole time. And don't take Nervun's comments to heart, he has been like that as long as he has been created. Being 20,000 plus years makes a man a little testy." He said in his booming bass voice. Though he knew this made Sionet smile happily, and a loud disgruntled growl was heard from Nervun who was oddly silent.

Lady Lunaris looked over her shoulders at that young man before turning her attention back to Dark. Wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing against him. She knew he was one of Twilight's minions, as well as the battle they had earlier. Not much went on their island of mist that now of the Siren's clan there didn't know about. "Yes, yes dearest it has been about 700 years I think since the men of our clan ran you out from jealousy. Now any ways we are taking the child, your newest addition for training like she was sent here for. I mean come on you couldn't miss the fact that she is one of us. And in two weeks time well return the child. When the moon would be full again if we still had night." she said, her voice some what plantive and pouty.
Stepping away and back towards the mist she smiled and winked in a toying manner at Osiris, being more then suggestive. "Dark, when we return her, she will be 18 years of age. And with in the year like all of us female siren's, must go through the ritual of adult hood. The clan elders would prefer if it would be you to break the girl in fully.... But if you don't want too, then I am sure you'd find someone 'more' then willingly to do that, she is cute. And don't dearest be afraid to visit us again, fallen god or not, you still can enter the protective barrier with out any..... challange like you used to. " her voice a soft whisper of the wind in his mind.

At the feeling of her hand in his fur, and hearing what Hope had said to him, Ted just purred some more. Although, in a dark area of Ted's consciousness, the one area that Ted had no knowledge of, Virgil was doing things that most religious scholars would say is impossible for a demon to do: praying and thanking God for the chance to be in Ted's mind. Ted might have fallen over if he knew this, but he didn't, so all was good.

Shaking his head to clear the cobwebs, Dark turns again to Lunaris and bows from the waist. "Should I survive this battle, I will visit. At that time, I will let you know my decision on the ritual."

At the brief look of agony on Sionet's face then sudden stiff formality, Xavier turned his back fully to them all. And when he did so, he was longer the form they were accustomed to; instead a large, shimmering white dragon was sitting before them, the long tail moving to slowly curl about his feet like a cat's. The familiar black tatoos stood out against the beautiful skin, and the two horns on the back of his head were long and polished. "Very well, then.." his wings shuffled against his back a little as his purple eyes shut for a couple moments before he stood and moved to face them once more, his normally burning eyes seeming to have dulled a considerable amount. "And you as well, Lady Sionet." Xavier slowly lowered his large head so that he was face-to-face with Sionet, wondering what she would do as his purple eyes watching her without the burning intensity they usually held. "Be sure not to forget me while you're gone, and be well my dear." he said before giving her a doggish half-smile, revealing a few of his teeth.
Hope continued to gently stroke her friend's fur as she slowly relaxed, falling in and out of sleep as she soaked up his warmth and the sound of his purring beneath her.

"poo poo Dark dearest. all will be well, at least the child will be of use to you when we return her... She will have more stamina and control of her ..... multiple gifts, but because of the taint in her, she will always pay a heavy price. Use her to your benefit." Lunaris replied in his mind as she appeared next to her brother Solartic. "SO are we ready to go. *bows* hello good dragon lord, sorry i would love to chat but we must. And I will ply them to get you to visit at least twice. *glances at Sionet* And don't worry she wont forget you at all. I don't think that will be possible with the impact you have made on the poor impressionable niave thing." Came her reply as she bent and hefted Sphynix under her arm like a limp rag doll.
Sionet still stiff and formal, showing no emotion on her face as she replied, "No I don't think I could for get some one as interesting as you. Still have a lot of questions to ask of you some time. and I wouldn't mind getting to know you better on a personal friend level either Sir Xavier Dragon" though her voice was regal and distant. Her warm brown eyes couldn't hide what she was feeling. They were a mixture of sadness, pain and what mattered most HOPE! A tentative smile on her soft thing pink lips as she bowed and they were gone.

((sorry i was gone for so long...i was at my dad's house. no webernet there. gonk )) Osiris chuckled. "Take your time," he called to Dark. "But I wouldn't be making any plans for the future, since your life ends in this clearing." He relaxed a bit. "And to answer your previous question...I'm not gonna tell you!" He stuck out his tongue childishly. "That ruins the surprise, you know?"
