Where have I heard Mikhail before . . . it sounds so familiar.
Actually, I'm a Research and Developement scientist under Xem, whose specialities lie in metallurgy, and engineering. And I hate snipers... bloody bastards won't even frag you to your face.... And the reason that I don't bother figuring out every little nook and cranny of my character is
a) it allows for a more dynamic developement if I don't have to stick to just one stereotype for my char. the entire time.
b) When in doubt, I simply have my chars behave like I would in a situation, and there's really no way to explain a character begaving like me without losing some of that anonymity over the internet.
Mikhail is a Russian name. But I started using it upon reading Marion Zimmer Bradley's darkover novels.
