JoVo Hmm. That would explain why I bleed from my mouth every time I brush my teeth. So, acrylic studs, then? It helps a lot. Edit: Acrylic studs are also cheaper. However, DO NOT soak/submerge them in listerine. They will dissolve.

Vague Kokoryta possibility of death due to being pierced in the imporper spot You have a couple of major veins in your tongue and if those are pierced and not tended too you could suffer form massive blood loss therefore putting you into shock and increasing your risk of heart failure. Jovo, you probably have gingevitus. Do you floss on a regular basis? I don't think you do, hence you have sensitive gums, and that's why they bleed when you brush. xp Floss more and they will become stronger and not bleed as much. ninja Jesus I didn't know I knew so much about oral care.

Kokoryta Though the later is more for the case of labets then for tongue studs. I have a love-hate relationship with labrets. They're so pretty, but the gum scraping sounds like more trouble than it's worth. Koko, do you remember any dental hygienist coming into your elementary classes? You know, with the giant dentures and toothbrush? You might have absorbed more information than you thought you did. After your gums start getting all not inflamed with gingivitis, start brushing after meals when you can or before bed. It may seem obsessive, but clean teeth are happy*. 3nodding *Remember you can overdo it. Brushing more than three times a day is overkill.

Nope, don't remember that at all. But I did a bunch of reaserch into my tongue stud before getting it, I even talked to a dentist about it, but I was better informed on the subject then she way. Which is rather sad.
Well, the labret will only really wear away at your gums if it was improperly pierced or if you play around with it too much or don't take care of it. 3nodding
I think I might know more about somethng then JoVo eek I'm amazed.

With so many shoddy body art/mod shops with questionable reputability popping up everywhere, I don't doubt someone has messed one or two teenie-boppers beyond repair. It's like Dogma all over again. JoVo being proven to lack in knowledge equates to the universe being nullified. ... eek
