Since this is a Grammar Nazi guild, I am wondering how many of you (who are in high school or have since graduated) took any Honors English classes? Or perhaps any other writing courses like newspaper or journalism?

snapdragon Since this is a Grammar Nazi guild, I am wondering how many of you (who are in high school or have since graduated) took any Honors English classes? Or perhaps any other writing courses like newspaper or journalism? You can only take journalism here in the 12th grade, but I intend on taking it then. As for honors, i've been in honors English classes since middle school, and I hope to get into AP English in 11th and 12th grade. whee English is my favorite subject. (go figure)

Or perhaps any other writing courses like newspaper or journalism? I took an honours English class. Oh, and for those of you wondering, when it comes down to prepositions and such, I ignore it. I really don't care how my sentence ends as long as it makes sense and follows basic grammar structure. If this was for an English credit, I would rephrase my sentences, but as for now, I'm merely typing with capitals, spelling and punctuation, like practically everyone is doing.

I didn't know some middle schools offered honors english courses! sweatdrop I'm going to be a sophomore next year, and I took honors lit. this past school year. I'm going to be writing on our newspaper as well. To Kizunami: journalism only offered to seniors? That's odd. Newspaper staffers at my high school can be in 10-12th grade.

Yearbook is separate from the Journalism class here, and you could take that as a Freshman, if you really wanted to. I don't know, Plano Independent School District is weird. o_x; I'm going to be a sophomore next year as well, and my school doesn't even offer Honors Literature, or any Literature class at all, for that matter.
