"I wish they were all, I can deal with them and get them to behave, somewhat. Fortunatly only a few of them are coming. The rest, the part I dread, is the traders that travel with them. They're practically the only merchants who will buy stolen goods and have the nerve to sell it back to the original owners. So in short, the only thing I can do is to tell all of you to keep your doors locked and keep anything of value hidden, along with your room keys. I'll lock the staircase door, there should be a key on your dressers for it, or at least there was." she told them with a sigh.

"Who cares, I have nothing of value," said Rrazpe, waving it off slightly. Whatever wages he had just stayed with Saro and went to pay for anything he ate or drank there. He wouldn't need to actually take and use his money unless he found some reason to leave.

She nodded, giving him that. "Just do it, trust me, they're all crazy... You'd be amazed at what some of them'll take..." she sighed, shaking her head sadly.

Rrazpe sat back for the moment, and waited for Saro to finish making his drink.

She remembered what she'd been doing and started again, opening a few of the newer bottles to do so. "There, sorry it took forever..." she said with an embarrased smile.

"'sfine," he said, taking it. He took a long pull at it and then put it down, swished it in his mouth, and then swallowed. "It isn't terrible," he said after a long moment.

"I hope not." she said with a grin, ignoring the fact that she'd been trying something new on him. "Oh, and do you mind if you're a guinea pig at times?" she asked innocently.

"Not really. Can I get a discount if you don't know it's good?"

"Do you mean drinks I'm making up or stuff I've never tried but give people?" she asked, as she did both. She knew some drinks were good, she just didn't drink that particular type or something along those lines.

"What would happen if a drink made him keel over?" Marin asked, sneaking a small smile.

"I'd be wondering which bottle did it." she said with a grin. "I wouldn't mix something strong enough to do that, and if I did I'd only give it to him." she said, motioning to Cyric coming down the stairs. "Don't even think about it. Last time you had me try something I was sick for days." he warned. "It's not my fault Rose had used the glass to mix her poisons in...." Saro muttered. "The glass had specks of powder in it." he pointed out. "And I'm supposed to see it? I thought she'd washed it and didn't pay much attention..." she retorted, making a second drink. "Yes. Especially after you did the same to-" he started, before she put the glass in his hand and cut him off. "Drink and hush. You'd think I'd managed to poison everyone who took a drink from me." "In our family, yes." he smirked, before he took a sip of whatever she had given him. "Oh my god, Saro managed to make something good." he said mockingly, to which she rolled her eyes and walked back to the bar. "Don't give him anything, and if you do make sure it's strong enough to make him sick." she told Marin, keeping a straight face.

"Cyric." was his reply, and Saro elaborated. "My brother." she added, as an explanation for their teasing. "You know, technically I'm not the alc-" he started, to which Saro quickly cut him off. "Not anymore, that was over a few years ago. It's fine now." she said, not giving any reference to what, or about who, he was about to say.
