Nuriko shook his head at Tasuki. It was true compared to the other too (and just about any other girl) that Tasuki looked pretty bad. But he still had a couple ideas left.
"Well, if it makes you feel any better... I have seen worse before."
He said, trying to hide the smile.
"We'll get you a nice hairpiece and as long as you dont ruin your cover you should be fine."

Niftyness "It shouldn't be too hard to separate the Suzaku no miko away from her seishis. Over the years of knowing her, I've learned that her stomach is her weak point. All that needs to be done is have the servants prepare a meal and surely her nose would be able to pick up the aroma the moment she steps into the palace. As for all those accompanying her, I trust that you will have no problem occupying them until my business with the Suzaku no miko is done." Yui suddenly spoke, knowing that Nakago would more than likely place a barrier around her area where no one else would be able to near her but the Suzaku no miko. She had been too much in thought that she failed to notice Nakago's attention elsewhere until now. "Nakago?" Yui quizically asked, knowing that distant look from him all to well. It usually meant they had company. Was Miaka here already?  "Of course Lady Yui. I shall have one of the dining halls specially prepared. If you would let the cooks know what to prepare, I will have the area will be cleared for your use. And we will have a surpise for the incoming Suzaku Seishi..and Subaru...a very...Shocking suprise."
*He turned back to her, a bit of a smirk on his lips.*
"She is already on her way here."

"Than I suppose we should go on and prepare for their arrival." Yui lightly suggested, nodding at Nakago's words about advising the cooks what to prepare. That task itself was easy enough since Miaka pratically liked everything her mouth came into contact with, well anything edible. Once this small matter was taken care of, she and Nakago would be able to continue planning for the future of Kutou. "Oi and Nakago, please do be careful." Yui added in, genuine concern in her tone as she gave him a faint yet warm smile. Honestly, she didn't know what she would do if she lost him.

*He closed the gap between them*
"...with me, Lady Yui."
*He stepped right up next to her, almost intimately, though his armor would bar such an interaction from truly being intimate, but he still brough one arm around to her back, gently as to lead her to the place where they would set the trap.*
"Shall we then?"

 Soi clanched her jaw as she saw the interaction between Yui and Nakago... my Nakago. Anger tinted her vision red, and she bit back a growl. She took a moment to compose herself before materializing from the shadows. Piercing green eyes then softened as they peered from beneath the light sandy cloak. "Nakago-sama," she murmured, keeping her voice low, "I have returned sire." She removed the hood knelt before him, her red hair cascading onto the smooth stone floor.

Opaaru Soi clanched her jaw as she saw the interaction between Yui and Nakago... my Nakago. Anger tinted her vision red, and she bit back a growl. She took a moment to compose herself before materializing from the shadows. Piercing green eyes then softened as they peered from beneath the light sandy cloak. "Nakago-sama," she murmured, keeping her voice low, "I have returned sire." She removed the hood knelt before him, her red hair cascading onto the smooth stone floor.
*He motioned with his free hand towards Soi.*
"Allow me to introduce...Another member of the Seiryuu Seven. The celestial warrior...Soi."
*At this point of the introduction, she would be polite to rise, and acknowledge Yui, and Nakago felt he didn't need to signal for such. Instead of leading the way down the hall now, there was more to make preparation for.*
"The Lady Yui will be meeting with the Suzaku no Miko shortly...and we are to have guests to add to those we already have. A young Byakko Seishi has found her way to be running free in the palace...She has been the source of great irritation to the Lady Yui and Myself. I will be keeping the Suzaku Seishi busy while Lady Yui meets the Preistess of Suzaku...That leaves you to tend to the tigress in our midst, Soi."

She frowned at his words not understanding how he could expect her not to worry about him when that's what friends did. They worried about each other and she could recall countless times when he had worried about her well being. Her eyes momentarily wavered over her deep thoughts but she was quick to snap back to reality as she felt Nakago's arm wrap around her back. If any other man had did what Nakago had done, she would have instinctly drawn back but Nakago gave her a sense of security. Yui opened up her mouth to speak but didn't get a chance to speak them out as a figure chose that time to appear before them. She slightly rose a brow at this stranger who had called Nakago's name and glanced up at him with a questioning gaze before her eyes fell back on the woman kneeling before them. As if reading her mind, Nakago chooses that very moment to introduce the two. "It's an honor to meet you." Yui kindly spoke out and gave the seishi woman a warm smile, completely oblivious towards Soi's jealousy. It was a shame that their introductions had to be a bit rushed with all the commotion going about but she made it a mental note to herself that she would better aquintance herself with the seishi woman once all of the small matters were taken care of. It would be nice to have conversations with another women. The only person she had been really socializing with was Nakago.

"Well," Subaru raised a brow as they entered the Western gardens again and slowly began to smile, this was the perfect area to escape from as all that was required was a simple leap over the walls (provided that she smashed through Nakago's barrier for a brief moment of time) - still, as she observed the area she placed her hands behind her head and allowed herself the time to savour the cool air coming in from the west itself, such wind that rustled her robes and yet provided a sense of comfort...
"I guess we can get out from here; Kouji," She mused, canting her head to the side as she began to formulate her plans. First of all, she would disrupt and barricade the entry to the gardens so they weren't disturbed by any unwanted guests, she was strong enough to rival Nakago in that respect and having done that she would be sure to try and at least penetrate his barrier enough times to get herself and Kouji out of there...
"Any questions?"

"Will you go out with me?" He grinned sheepishly and then his other personality kicked in and he cursed under his breath. "Kouji you are worse than an idiot! But she's hot! Kouji damnit this isn't the time or the place! It slipped out!"

Dropping her concentration for a brief moment, she allowed him to finish his own conversation with himself and then raised an eyebrow, a bemused expression forming across her delicate features, "That was the idea Kouji - we're both to get out together," she replied in a patient manner, canting her head to the side as she cupped her hands and waited for anymore questions before she proceeded with the spell that she had in mind (she couldn't do it when being distracted)...

"That's not what I meant," he started to protest. "Kouji don't she's given you an exit! Uh maybe I'll just drop it until we uh somehow vault over this wall." He looked downcast for a moment and focused on the wall. 'Sheesh I'm a damn idiot alright! No wonder I can't get a girlfriend! Maybe I'm better off staying at Mt. Leikaku.'

"Oh, so that's what you meant," Subaru murmured as she feigned innocence and allowed herself a small blush of appreciation, to have an admirer was certainly flattering and she would let him know that - he did deserve some thanks after all, "Well, we can discuss that once we're over the wall -" She continued at last as she gave a small nod and offered a smile - it was a genuine smile as well.
Still, with a few moments of contemplation she also recovered herself and taking into account the current situation; she hurridly began to make her preparations, envoking the magicks from around her very being to exact themselves and make themselves known - it was only a matter of minutes before the air around her began to warm and pulse with magic despite the repressing influence of Nakago's barrier; her bubble of safety was about to become a reality...

Kouji was warmed by her smile and then noticed he was actually warmed by a change in the air. He watched her mystified by her words as she proceeded to work on the barrier. 'Maybe there's someone else,' he thought to himself, 'or maybe I'm not her type, either way, I'm not hopeful.'

Subaru simply smiled inwardly as a wave of serenity crossed over her features; here in the realms of magic she was at home and she was in control - his symbol flared and obediently the magic around her shifted, wielded to her will and might which few with the exception of perhaps Chichiri and Taisuken could ever possibly comprehend.
As the air continued to heat she lowered herself to her knees and placing her hands against one another she enveloped herself in prayer, a prayer to her deity and to her fellow seishi who despite the distance were still with her. In answer, the magic in which she had summoned began to press and challenge Nakago's extensive barrier as it itself began to warp, twist and morph itself into a large bubble of protection.
This bubble was invisible to the naked eye but if one were to encounter it and to be considered an enemy one would be met with a rather unwelcome surprise - not only would the barrier crackle but it would blow you as far away from it as possible even if that meant you destroyed a few walls in the process...
Having done this, Subaru continued with her prayers for a little longer in order to stabilise her magic under the influence of Nakago before at last opening her eyes once more, placing her gaze upon the fountain as she awaited any reply to her recent summonings.
"Tell me of Leikaku?" She asked softly.

Kouji was in awe of her power, it was beyond the like of anything he'd ever seen or experienced and he wondered if Genrou, being a seishi, had ever felt or done anything similar.
He was startled by the sudden question, "tell me of Mt. Leikaku." Where to begin?
"It's near Mt. Kaou if it helps, we rival with those bandits sometimes. It's a nice place, good if you want to be separate from civilisation although, there are many passerbys. There's a village down from it, that's where Genrou/Tasuki's family lives and then further on is the city Souun, the western capital of Konan I think it is. Until now those places where the furthest I'd ever been.
We live in wooden buildings in the mountain, it's nice enough I guess but I've always wanted to travel from it, not that I don't love bandit brawls and drinking sake every night but a change is nice."
