I would consider taking the Oranragan's out since they cost so much, I know there Effect is really good but I would rather have 3 Tropical Jumbors if I plan on using Swoon alot

Blargh. . .I've only got one of the TJs
Plus I need more relic removal in the deck, and that's what they're good at

I'm hoping that I'll get a box of ND after the move.
I'm just kinda pressed for the money right now cause I'm saving for a 360 as well sweatdrop
((Must. . .play. . .Halo 2))

I play halo 2 on my old xbox do you not have one?
I would still have Relic Stalkers then a 8e creature I can't play in my hand
PostPosted: Tue Aug 08, 2006 10:58 pm

plus you have a Dreamwarp theme going that he does work to good with, since he doesn't have it... its only a suggestion, but play the deck and after a while I think you'll see what I'm saying

I'm either missing half my relic stalkers or they're taken up with other decks.
Unfortunatly, he doesn't have dreamwarp, he's got invulnerability. . .
I'd actually prefer beam of light over anythin gelse, since it's so versitile, but getting dream's end is so difficult these days. . .

Oh about Halo. . .
I never got an Xbox so I figured I'd just grab a backwards compatible one, that way I can get Halo 3 when it come back.

(shame on me for making a post unrelated to Magi-nation)

good idea, Halo's one of the best... I like Starwars BattleFront (1&2), Kotor (1&2)... but Halo was my reason for getting the Box, with the next PS being 500-600 and the games reportly 100 a piece I'm looking more towards 360... Has anyone Played there Playstation2 online?
(hey at least we're posting, thats better than not)

Agreed. . .PS3 is way too much for a system. . .

I know my PS2 has the online thing, but I've never used it, I don't think any of the games I have support it. (I got it for DDR)

Yeah I guess. . .nobody else seems to care either

Couple of problems i see right off the bat, no relics or spells. all you did was throw all the hyrens into a deck.

Secondly with such big creatures you need a way to protect them, circa spells and relics.

Second hyrens are large creatures by standard so you need massive magi energy to run them.

Consider Oqua to get them out as fast as possible, throw in a giant parathin i think to switch her out and harmanise up to starting.

universal magi dont really offer a hyren deck a lot of options, your going to need staff of the keepers and staff of hyrens.

Ill post more later its been a while and my cards are not with me.

It is not a very effective deck due to the energy cost.

lol I didnt make a hyren deck. I actually wanted help in making one. I just listed all my hyren, staff of hyren, and two seemingly reasonable magi. That posting was to ask for ideas as to what I should put into the deck to complete it, and what I should remove.
Due to unforseen circumstances, my cards now only consist of my hyren, 3 magi, and 1 spell. I do plan on buying more cards to re-build my collection, but for now Im just asking for some help with constructing a hyren based deck.

Eh? my bad however i played magi nation for a long time with a guy who was obsessed with making a hyren deck.

to this day it still hasent worked. I believe its possible to make a hyren heavy deck, but not a hyren only deck.

the hyrens are 1 too expensive 2 rarely worth it and 3 span too many regions.

If you ensist then it all starts with magi, your going to need extrodinary energy to pull this off. your energise needs to be approximatly the same or higher than the average cost of one hyren typically.

One option i have seen in the past that has held the most potential was with ookami and his drums abusing leaf hyren's common ability and the energy manipulaton found with par's creatures.

I think its awesome that your trying a all Hyren deck but yeah never seen one work. One tip would be to use Storm Ring since it's Hyren friendly, but that doesn't work with Yerthe so sorry for my dumb tip.

Magi:
Karse
Voda
Quilla

Creatures:
Bwill x2
Monsoon Hyren x1
Sea Barl x2
Cawh x3

Relics:
Ancestrial Flute x2
Dream Balm x3
Hubdra's Spear x1
Orothean Goggles x2
Relic Stalker x2
Robe of Ages x1
Tomorrows Jewel x2

Spells:
Beam of Light x3
Crushing Surf x2
Entangle x1
Overgrowth x2
Pillar of Brine x1
Spirite of Orothe x2
Submerge x3
Tidal Wave x3
Tranquility x2
Undertow x3
Will of Orothe x2

total: 45

Basically, run through the deck to get Cawh. Then use the spells and what not ot pump him up and protect him. The rest is to get ride of your opponents feild so Cawh can attack the Magi. And the other creatures are there...if needed.

So far it has proven pretty good, it's won many times.
