Kaonna looked carefully at the picture. "What in the world? It has my father's writing on it, but I can't make it out. Something weird is going on." Kaonna looked up at Nick. "What do you make of it?"

Nick looked at it again. "That girl at the bottom looks a lot like you do...I could swear. We're all standing in front of..."
He looked at something in the picture, squinting. "No...those are football uprights...and look at the seats...this is BC Place Stadium. It's in Loyalist territory. Actually, that's our medical center."

"Okay, so the girl looks like me and the rest is familiar to you, but what in the world would it mean?"

"It could be a clue." He tapped the picture. "Notice we're standing, backs to the uprights, not just anywhere on the field, but on the center field line. Our backs are also to the screen, as well as one of the field tunnels. Are you sure you can't make out the writing?"

"Let me try again." Kaonna looked and studied the writing. "My name is written on it. So is yours." Kaonna looked up at Nick with a look of astonishment. "This is getting weird!"

Nick looked at something below where he'd found the picture, and his eyes widened further as he read sections of it. "Oh my...right here...passageways into the hospital and the old Woodward's department store building. Those are the headquarters for the Proletariat and Order of God. The Order must know, otherwise you'd also have the Proletariat on your head...unless they think it's an asset having you here...but either way, this is huge. It says nothing about where the passageways start, and it says something about a weapons store and something...well, mystical, but I don't believe in such..."
He looked at Kaonna, then back at the picture then at the paper. "We might very well be able to end this war."

Kaonna suddenly sprung into a dream. She saw herself playing right in the very basement she was in now. Her child self walked toward a wall with some sort of writing on it. She touched it and read it with her finger. She walked over to the back where a door was. She knew that it was just there for show though. The young Kaonna still out of curiousity moved to open the door and was stopped by her father. He told her that she mustn't open the door. Not now at least. He would tell her why later. But he never had the chance.
As Kaonna dreamed this, she acted out all of her actions as if it were just happening.

Nick placed his hand lightly on Kaonna's shoulder. "Kaonna...? What is it?"

Kaonna immediately focused her attention on Nick's face. "The paper. Then instructions. The door here. It's not just for looks. I think this is the way to the tunnels!"

Nick nodded. "Show me this door. We should move now...and I think we should take these with us." He gestured to the papers. "We'll also need to go armed, in case we come out in the wrong spot."

Kaonna looked around and spotted the arms case. "Over here. I don't really know what's in here but you can have any weapon you like. I'll get the papers." After grabbing two handguns for herself, Kaonna went over and grabbed the papers, stuffing them in an old purse of hers. "The door is over here." Kaonna pointed to the back of the room.

Nick slung his M4 on his back, replacing the Ruger in its holster before opening the arms case. He selected a Colt .45 and attached another holster to his belt, placing the Colt there then looking at something at the top of the case. "Um, Kaonna...may I ask where the hell you got that?" He pointed at the shotgun hung at the top, a Weatherbee .460. "This is huge firepower..."

"Huh?" Kaonna looked at where Nick was pointing and saw what he was talking about. "I have no clue. All these things were my parents'. When they disappeared, so did all the knowledge of this place. I truly have no idea where in the world they would have got that or why they would have even had it. They worked for the Loyalist in the beginning though. Could they have gotten it from you guys?"

He shrugged. "I could check the armory records, but I've only been up top for a few months. Any older than that and we wouldn't have records."

"Okay. Well, we should get going. Come on." Kaonna turned the knob of the door. It was locked. Kaonna thought for a second. She decided to just kick it down. "Stand back. I'm going to break the door down."
