x_Hikari_x
That's Jamie...the person is just the woman who was riding him that day. He was my favorite, until he got mad and dumped me, so they sent him away. He is now happily living as a pasture horse=). ((Full story is in the horse horror stories thread...lol))
No one really knows what he is....heinz 57, as I've been told, lol. He is rather ugly, boney, knoby and thin, but I still loved him none the less...Quote: No horse is ugly. He's beautiful! I wish I had a horse.

I wish I could own a horse...I probably could, but boarding a horse at my barn just costs so damn much! *grr* For a horse stall without a daily turnout, it's $795.00 a MONTH. OMG.
I would like to lease my favorite horse, though...Scottie XD That's really really expensive, too, though... sweatdrop Three days each week, per month, the cost is the same as boarding a horse--$795.00. Can we say living in suburban New Jersey sucks? stare
Although I THINK if you've been riding for a year at my barn, with parental permission you can hack during the week... biggrin Just a few more weeks! :squee: (Edit: I just looked it up...with your instructor's permission you can hack for an hour...and it's only $45.00...yay!)
Anyway...I hope to own a few horses when I grow up...or who knows? Maybe someday I'll get my own horse without having to wait...10 years...
And I'm rambling again...
I'll try and remember to bring the digital camera during the week...I think I have a lesson during the week to train for the show biggrin
I'll take pictures of Scottie and Faust (my babies! XD ) Faust is my favoritest pony ever... biggrin
And...I'm rambling. Sorry.

This is my horse Lady, orwhen she was mine. She's a Clydesdale crossed with a Hackney. Before we got her she use to do horse show in the carting class, we were never told if she won, but I bet she did because she was a real ham in front of the camera. She was 12 when we got her and had her for 5 years before I had to move to the city and the people that got her had always wanted her. And yes that is my dog jumping down off of her. He use to ride with me and she didn't mind so much as long as he didn't figet.

That's pretty awsome though, draft horses are cool. How tall was she?

Hey, I finally got pictures of my assigned school horse, Jeb! Now that I don't have that class anymore... but I volunteered to keep him for the next class and just come out and take care of him. So I get the fun part of my stable management lab (grooming and playing with my horse) without the boring lectures on conformation and clipping. Sounds like a great deal to me! Anyway, this is Jeb: Yes, I know, the lower strap on his halter isn't fastened. When they bring the horses in they just grab random halters for the horses, so the one that was hanging on his stall was actually too small for him, and I was too lazy to go try and find a bigger one, so I just said oh well. He's pretty well behaved, and I was just taking him out to graze for a while with my friend Tricia and her assigned horse Nori. And I apologize if the pictures are big, I'm too lazy to resize them. razz

@Cretensa: I know XD But there aren't any barns close enough to here....I think the closest one after Essex is at least an hour and a half away. And my instructor only works at Essex...O.o
