Marshal Lannes I'm a sparrow. And I've noticed that there aren't many birdkin around. Any takers on that? To be honest I originally thought I was an angel because I could feel my wings on my back instead of an "arm". But I suppose it's better like that because I'm sure it would be rather difficult to have phantom feathers on my arms. It would certainly make most things awkward. Well.... Awkward-er. I'm an eagle. It makes me sad that I can't fly. Does it make you sad?

It is not necessarily the act of flight which brings joy, but the knowledge and understanding of it, as the faculties have the power to reproduce the feeling to a fairly significant degree. Of course, your joy of flight could be different as you are a birdkin and essentially different from me, but in principle, it should be the same.

UnoriginalName I'm an extradimensional (I think that's the right word...) being, not something that'd be well known, though. A friend of mine calls my species "dark angels"; I consider it to be more or less a misnomer, though, since my complexion is still fairly pale (yes, human form too, most of the time anyway); I suppose it has some grains of truth in it, though. Admittedly, I'll always think I always sound far-fetched and false when talking about this, mostly because it's unusual even among people with this remote resemblance, which is ever closer from the far away common humanity. I've heard of your kind, I know a little about them...and yes, a definite misnomer. As for what I am....it's so hard to explain....there are so many things/races that I am, I don't even know everything of what I am because there's so many. The easiest way is to say that I am probably a little bit of almost anything you can think of as far as kin go. I know, it sounds corny, there's a family history that explains it, but I'll not post it here, since it's kinda long due to it stretching back to my first life. I have never met or sensed anyone who is the same as me, in race I mean.

I'm a Draco, a kind of alienkin which are commonly mistaken for dragons or demons. I have yet to meet another of my kind, although I've met a few people that are possibly the same kin.
