~After getting enough sleep I woke up the next day to get breakfast started...but when I came out my room I notice right away...Asashi had already serve breakfast and had set everything up...I pause and sighed...but..I had to ask~

"Enjoy your nap?"

~Some how that startle her...I do not know why, but it just did. She turn around to look at me with a light smile...~

"Oh, I didn't hear you coming. And yes I did. I figure that cause you where still asleep that I would make breakfast this morning..."

~She said it in a cheerful matter...which made me kind of cringe a little...are all angels like her? I thought going to sit down at the table...oh before I forget...I got up and wash my hands first...and then grab a bottle from the fridge and then went to sit down...~

~But, I have to admit, she can cook very well...I mean even for a vampire this breakfast taste delicious....I wonder how she does it and I kind of wonder if her sister had anything to do with her cooking....~

"This is....pretty good."

~I said lightly, but I knew Asashi heard me...cause she was still smiling as she sat down and ate...~

"I wonder if anyone else will come out and eat?"

~She said softly looking around...I kind glance at her when she said that...but then she went back to eating...there are only two other people here in the dorm. Maybe it's best not to bother them yet...anyways I have to go somewhere this morning....I thought finishing the rest of my breakfast...I got up and clean my dish...Asashi notice that I have been quite the whole time though...~

"Hey, are you ok? You seem lost in thought there. I mean you are always thinking of things but you where more open with sis. So, why not me too?"

~She said with Innocent in her voice, along with worry...but that is not the point...the truth is she was not there to know what happen between us...I ended up reacting coldly...~

"It''s none of your concern."

This kind of thing went so much smoother with a human opponent. He had to give Jake props for the nickname though, trying his best to surpress the amused smirk. Rhett hadn't even thought of that, but it fit eerily well. However, there was little time to relish in this as Jake was sent soaring [i]straight at him.[/i] In one quick move, Rhett deactivated the gloves just as Jake collided with him and the two were knocked backwards. Personally, Rhett didn't think this was a 'fine plan', knitting his brows as that weird laser beam of an arm did some freaky Transformers s**t. Wrapping both arms over Jake's shoulders for a moment, he commented in a bittersweet tone. [color=#65427A][b]"That doesn't look too good. On the bright side, nice to see you're in one piece, Kitten."[/b][/color] Jake had opened his mouth to say something in response, but he was interrupted by the whirring sound of the laser. Ripping Rhett's arms off of him, he did the first thing that came to mind, which was to push the other man beneath him and shield him with his own body. [color=#812003][b]"Get down!"[/b][/color] He shouted, ducking his own head down towards the floor as he did so. In retrospect, he probably wouldn't have stopped the beam from reaching Rhett. But on instinct, that had been the first thing he thought to do. Everything kinda moved really fast for Rhett--which was strange all things considering--but this partly pissed him off. Although, he did try to follow Jake's lead on the instructions, something in the back of his mind said this probably wasn't gonna stop that damn thing and the fact that this metallic asswipe was already threatening to take Jake from Rhett when he'd [i]just[/i] gotten him back really only made this more that much more agitating. Jake's arms tighted around Rhett as the whirring increased in volume, and he found himself shutting his eyes and holding his breath. There was a deep boom as the cannon went off with a flash of light, but to Butler's frustration, the explosion went off higher than he aimed and struck down a column instead. The area plumed with smoke and debris as the structure completely collapsed. There was a visible spark coming from the ring around the muzzle of his cannon and when he inspected it, he saw that the metal had melted in. His mind flashed back to when Rhett burned into Butler's wrist, and it made him roar in anger. They got off lucky this time, but their luck will soon run out. He fixed his aim in consideration to the damages he had, and began to charge once more. Some rubble and debris fell around them as he laid there in an ignorant silence. With his eyes shut and his head down, there was no way for Jake to know what happened. Part of him [i]didn't want[/i] to look up. [color=#812003][b]"What's wrong? Forget how to aim..?!"[/color][/b] Butler felt his insides flame at the taunt. He was humiliated and it was utterly disgraceful. This time, though, he'll hit his mark. When his cannon finished charging, and the smoke cleared, he fired at Jake. The explosion went off a little further off the target, but it still managed to damage the part that mattered: his leg. A cry of agony erupted from the teenager's throat as some of his blood splattered into the air. He groaned, but he wrapped his arms around Rhett even tighter. His eyes opened then, and he tried to glance back but all he saw was blood from this angle. As soon as the blast hit Jake's leg and his body reacted, Rhett was quick to grasp onto Jake's back tightly, scooting them slowly away before attempting to reposition himself. [color=#65427A][b]"Just hold tight, Pal.[/b][/color] While his voice trembled slightly but came out understandably clear, Rhett's heart pounded in his chest, using one arm to grip around Jake's waist as the other was leverage for lifting them both before sliding underneath the younger male's knees. Jake was held against Rhett's chest tightly, almost possessively as he processed the surroundings quickly while crouched and bolted, still ducked in the direction of the other side of the ballroom. His breaths came out bursts through his teeth as he clutched Rhett's shirt and closed his eyes. They disappeared from view for a second, but then reappeared again seconds later. The pain made it difficult to concentrate. They flickered in and out of view, sometimes they stayed out of view for longer periods than others. [color=#812003][b]"Yep,"[/color][/b] he said, wincing with pain. [color=#812003][b]"He can still ******** aim."[/color][/b] And aim he did. Butler's cannon already finished charging and when the two blinked back into view, he locked on and a maddening grin found its way to his stone expression. [I]Say your prayers.[/i] [B]“[i]STOP![/i]”[/b] Marie's voice boomed through the dining hall and caused Butler to redirect his aim. The explosion landed on the ceiling and large pieces of debris fell to block Rhett and Jake's path. Butler looked around and expected to see Marie, but she wasn't there. He waited for her to say something else, but nothing came. It was difficult for Jake to think through the pain. Despite them being invisible, his blood still dripped to the floor and gave away their location. Jake's eyes opened when he heard Marie's voice boom throughout the room. He didn't see her, but it distracted the butler anyway. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out his handgun and with a shaking hand shot toward the man's skull. The bullet wedged itself in Butler's cheek and broke between his teeth. Rather than feeling pain, he was growing very irritated.[b] "I don't think you understand that it's pointless trying to fight back." [/b]He said after he spat the bullet on the floor and let it clink helplessly before rolling to a stop. Rhett had stopped in his tracks at the large debris and the voice, kinda like he was following an order not given to him, but not really. However, his still stance gave Jake the chance for a straight shot which was rewarded with a simple shake of Rhett's head in mild disapproval, but it did seem to further distract Butler which Rhett took as a prime opportunity, tightening his grip a bit to a firm hold, he darted around the pieces of debris with an agile ease. Butler's jaw tightened as he saw the trail of blood disappear into the hall.
