-Cyrus shrugged-
He seems fond of the spider. I had never seen one before, and must admit, I am quite fascinated by it, but I don't make it a habit to go near things that could kill me easily. But he said that the village leaders of the elf village would help take care of it.

Ivory thought about elf laws. "If Leaf and Virginia have agreed to care for it with the help of the village, that means its a death penalty if you do kill it. Villager or not. It's their right, given to them by the U.S. government." She returned to making the pancakes, cooking them on the pan by now. They smelt good already, and she was happy that Edmund and Erik would get something into their system.

"Area 51 was developed by elves and werecats. Didn't you know that? It's why it's such a secretive place. Sure, weapon technology is invented there, but it has a shady underground that holds the extraterrestrial stuff. The aliens, ships, and all that. It's run completely by nonhumans, since humans aren't as quick to fight back as we are if the aliens broke out into riot or whatever." She smiled at Thatchel. "We're not as secret as you think. Why do you think Alinese was able to open this school in the first place? It had to be cleared with the government."

Wow, I have been pouring my own funds and power into this school, though I suppose it is better that I do that than let the US government take over everything...
-Thatchel sat in a chair on the side near the refrigerator-
-Cyrus vanished and reappeared in the seat in the corner and bridged his fingers and put one leg on top of the other-

Edmund's eyes fluttered open, and he looked down at Erik's head, stroking his hair softly. He held him close, as if he was going to lose him to something. In all honesty, he just wanted to hold the boy. Or, maybe it was his horomones. Edmund didn't know, and he certainly didn't care at this point. He quietly whispered into Erik's ear, feeling he had to reassure the young boy, "I love you, Erik."
Ivory's ears perked at Edmund's soft, quiet voice. She went into the living room and looked over the back of the couch. Sure enough, Edmund was awake and stroking Erik's hair. "I didn't expect you to be awake so soon." She had said it quietly so she didn't wake Erik, but something told her that since Edmund was awake, Erik would be awake soon as well.

-Erik was still out like a light, enjoying the rest, but as Edmund whispered in his ear he cuddled into his chest and nuzzled it-
-Thatchel slowly got up and walked to the doorway and leaned against it-

Edmund looked around, confused for a few moments. He blinked, though, and smiled at Ivory and the other two. "I forgot you all came to visit. Must have been my dream. Strange things, dreams are." He smiled and let out a soft laugh before carefully sitting up. "So, did anyone find out why Jonathon's been so distant lately?" To be honest, Edmund didn't really care about Jonathon's acts himself, but he wanted Erik to have some closure on the subject.
"A rose spider. He's been taking care of it in the garden. I guess he never told you or Erik because its venom is extremely dangerous to creatures like you two."
"A rose spider?" It hit him suddenly, and he facepalmed himself. "No wonder why I've been so uncomfortable in the garden. My allergies were kicking in. Damn. I'm an idiot sometimes."

-Cyrus smiled and vanished from his chair and reappeared sitting on the top of the couch as his feet softly rested on the arm. He reached down softly and ran his fingers through Erik's hair which caused Erik to nuzzle the pillow as he dreamed of Edmund and him-
Yes, quite a fascinating specimen. I have never seen such a creature before, and to see such a lethal creature in real life was absolutely...breath-taking...
-His pupils grew wide momentarily as he said the last two words and then they returned to normal as he grinned happily-
-Thatchel smiled and watched happily-

Ivory blinked, looking at Edmund. She'd never thought he'd have an allergy. Hell, she didn't even know he had a weakness at all. She'd imagined his weakness being something like kryptonite or high-pitches noises. But, and allergy. It was hard to imagine someone as powerful as Edmund having a mere allergy. He did surprise her at times, though. "Oh. I made chocolate chip pancakes for you and Erik. I used Papa's special recipe."
Edmund looked at Cyrus as he stroked Erik's head, and then at Ivory. "Thank you, Ivory. You didn't have to go that far, though, but I do appreciate it." He looked at Cyrus and smiled a bit. "I hear you and Noishe are fathers now." He smiled a genuine smile of pure joy, but inside he felt a bit uneasy. Taking care of protozoan was a lot of work. Not just for the parents, but for the Spirits, too. They required a lot of elemental energy for a long while until they were able to sustain themselves on short amounts of it. "Congrats. I'm sure they're wonderful children."

-Cyrus' grin got even larger when Edmund mentioned Noise and the twins and his pupils grew slightly-
Oh they all are magnificent, all three of them. I have never had so much joy.
-Thatchel walked up behind Ivory and wrapped his arms around her tummy and pulled her back against his chest and cuddled her sweetly-
