Jason didn't go into Rose's room, though he did toss the stick he had carved onto her bed through the doorway. He then continued wandering around for a bit, then stepped outside and climbed back onto the room, walking around the roof of the house easily, hat tilted down slightly, looking around the land.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... The ranch was a hive of activity, people running here and there to get everything done. It was like a well oiled machine, with everyone knowing what they were supposed to do. It was far from quiet though, people laughing and joking, tossing remarks back and forth. Rose, with her auburn hair, was easy to see and she wandered from person to person, pulling them aside to talk. Finally, she was finished and headed back to the house. Catching sight of a movement on the roof, she paused and looked. Seeing Jason, she laughed and waved. "What are you doing up there?" She called up to him. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Getting a good view of course." Jason called down with his trademark broad grin.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose put her hands on her hips. "You'd get a better view if you actual came down and looked." She told him with a laugh. "You are certainly an odd one." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"I can see the big picture from up here though." Jason pointed out, just grinning when she called him odd, she had no idea.

He could also see Akanksha riding her horse at top speed up the far road, dust kicked up behind her. The girls generally gentle nature made her hard to dislike, however the color of her skin and the race she was born from simply made it easy for some. There weren't many in the town since Akanksha had taken up her position as healer and translator between the town and the tribe. Still a few of the ranches still considered her tribe a threat or were just ignorant.
In order to get to the widow she had to pass one of these ranches. The general law in town was that no one messed with her, outside of town however these type considered her fair game. Avoiding altercations with them was an art form one that Akanksha had pretty much mastered. Not all situations could be avoided however. So bent low over her horses neck she gave him his head and ran hell bent for town. She had left her bow and arrows in Rose's kitchen, having forgotten to pick them up as she walked with the woman.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose paused, considering that for a moment. Then she trotted towards the house. Nimbly, she used a bunch of stuff piled against one wall to climb to the roof. She came to stand beside Jason, looking out over the ranch. "You know, I never thought of it like that." She said, taking in the view. While her house wasn't the tallest thing around, it was certainly quite a different view than she was used to. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jason nodded, then frowned, spotting Akanksha in the distance, riding hard, "Seems your friend might be in some trouble..." He said warily, "See? Isn't seeing the big picture helpful?" He asked, standing, wondering if he should hop on his own horse to help Akanksha, though he couldn't see any real trouble from here.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose glanced around and soon found what Jason had seen. She frowned, peering closer at the rider. She muttered a curse. "Stupid idiots." Trotting to the edge of the roof, she jumped down lightly. She hit the ground and headed for the kitchen, giving a sharp whistle. Foxy, recognizing the signal, came trotting over. Rose grabbed Akanksha's bow and arrows, slinging them on her back then hopping on Foxy's back. The mare wasn't saddled but that wasn't a problem for her. "Let's go Foxy." She told the mare, then took off to help her friend. She simply jumped the fence of the ranch. It was only high enough to deter the horses, not stop them. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akanksha shifts her weight, the horse changing course slightly to head for Rose just as the two riders after her come into view from around the bend. Her horse had been chosen for it's speed and loyalty, the sleek animal one of the fastest in town. As she came closer to Rose she held out one hand, waiting for the girl to hold out her weapon.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose unhooked the weapon from her back skillfully, and held it out. Guiding Foxy with her knees and voice, she brought the mare closer until she could hand the weapon to Akanksha. She didn't throw it, for risk of losing the weapons. Foxy held her course steady, not bothered by running so close to another horse. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Grabbing her weapon from Rose, Akanksha expertly pulled the quiver in place. With practiced ease, even at the speed she was riding, she turned around on the horse and pulled an arrow. She had never killed them but was known to wound them when provoked. Taking quick aim she shot the first in the shoulder and the second in the arm. Both lost control of their horses the shots forcing them to jerk the reins. Turning back around she glanced to Rose as she slipped her bow over her head. "I must make it to town before more trouble brought to you." Nodding her thanks she leaned over the horses neck, her stallion kicking up his speed as she did.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose veered away from Akanksha slightly, giving her room to maneuver. A glance backwards proved that the men weren't coming after them anymore, not just yet. At Akanksha's words, she shook her head. "No! Come back to my ranch Akanksha. They won't bother you there. Or they'll regret it if they do." Rose was known to defend her ranch by any means necessary when she felt threatened. Make friends with her and her ranch was your ranch. Piss her off though.......She made damn sure no one wanted to try that a second time. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akanksha sighed heavily but nodded. She didn't like taking advantage of others and felt she was with Rose. But unless she wanted to actually cause true harm it was the best option at the moment. Taking a small blow to her pride in being able to handle things on her own was better than having to harm or be harmed. Using her knees she directed the horse to turn and follow after Rose back towards the ranch.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose grinned at Akanksha's nod but wasted no time in turning Foxy around. She raced towards her ranch, the native girl right behind her. She didn't slow her mare until they'd cleared the fence the bordered her farm. There she slowed to a trot and grinned at Akanksha. "Well, I've had my excitement for the day. What about you?" She asked with a laugh, glancing behind her to make sure the men wouldn't follow. The tiger that should be....isn't....
