Midori walks quietly onto the field, the wind making her shiver with anticapaction. "Go Hell Breaker" Midori yells and launches her pokeball into the air.

A young girl of seventeen walked into the arena, a Pikachu holding onto her right shoulder. Spinel stroked the electric mouse, who gave a "Pika!" of happiness as she was pet. The duo stopped in the trainers circle, Spinel looking around for her next opponent. "Alright Emi, are you ready for your next battle?"
The happy-go-lucky and affectionate look on the Pikachu's face disappeared, replaced with a hard and determined expression as it replied. "Pi pika!" With that the yellow mouse leapt off her trainers' shoulder and ran further into the flat arena. Emi had been in a battle with a Houndour before, and she had one. The Pikachu wondered if this Houndour would be any different, and she readied for their first attack, grounding herself.

"Go Hell Breaker Bite attack!" Midori's finger lingered on the other girls pikachu. Hell Breaker charged forward and took a snap at pikachu. 30 / 30

"Watch out Emi!" Spinel shouted, watching as the Houndour lunged forward at her Pikachu.
Emi attempted to sidestepp the attack, but was hit when he bit down on one of her long ears. Emi was tough for a rodent, merely grimacing as she waited for her trainers next command.
"Emi use Thunder Fang!"
The Pikachu's jaws opened to reveal small but very sharp white teeth, electricity flowing visibly across them, lengthening her fangs. At the same time another pair of jaws appeared out of thin air, much larger than the Pikachu's and made solely of electricity. The canines grip on her ear wasn't all that firm and she managed to free herself, swinging around to bite at the Houndours' underarm.

Sparks flew about, shocking poor Hell Breaker. She growled and got back on her feet, shaking with electricity. "Hell Breaker, you will be okay! I have faith in you!" Hell Breaker did a nodding like motion towards Midori. "Its time to heat things up, Ember!" 23/30 Damage: 1

The attack was easy enough to dodge, the jet of flames hardly doing any damage at all as the small Pokemon jumped to the side. Adreniline was pumping through her veins, she was concentrating so hard on the battle, focusing only on the Houndour and her trainers commands.
"Nice job Emi! Now, use Iron Tail!" Spinel commanded, snapping her arm out and pointing at the Houndour, a wicked smile on her face and eyebrows furrowed. How she loved battling.
The Pikachu ran towards the Houndour in a zig zag motion, the light from the battledome gleaming and reflecting off her tail, an iron coating forming over the fur. The Pikachu dashed underneath the Houndour, that was one of the many advantages of being small. Once she ran out from under Hell Breaker she immediately jumped into the air and into a series of rapid somersaults. As she fell back to earth she aimed to slam the iron clad tail at the base of the black beasts neck.

Hell breaker gets smashed heavily with Pikachu's iron tail causing him to skid back. She breathed heavily and wagged her tail. She growled and scarped the floor with her front paw, to show her displeasement. Midori called out to Hell breaker. "Try Ember again!" Hell Breaker Opened her mouth and a gash of red flames come out heading towards Pikachu. 17 / 30 Damage: 2

"Emi watch out for that fire!" She didn't really need to say it, for the Pikachu got out of the danger zone fairly quickly.
But that doesn't mean she got away scot free, she was burned slightly on the ear that had been bitten. Where was the next command?!
"Alright Emi use Thunderbolt!" That was a good one, she didn't have to get close in order for it to hit. That was probably her only long range attack.
It was on now, and it was clear when she took a defensive pose with sparks flying from her cheeks. In less than seconds those sparks exploded into a bolt of lightning, headed straight for the Houndour.

Hell breaker, got hit straight on flying back.
"Hell breaker!!" Midori shouted running over to her Pokemon. Her
houndour got up slowly and shook a little, it trembled on her feet.
"Are you okay to go on?" Midori asked softly.
Hell Breaker looked at her and replied "Houn"
"We might have to try a different strategy now. Use Crunch"
with that the Houndour bounded forward aiming for pikachu's damage ear.

(Pretend she's still a Pikachu. xD)
Emi was ready this time, she wouldn't let this pesky Houndour get her ear again. She jumped sideways to avoid the attack, but it ran over the tip of her tail. This ticked her off. However much she wanted to attack immediately, she had to wait for Spinel's next command.
"Use Shockwave, now!" Her trainer called out, hoping this would be an effective attack.
Her cheeks shot out electricity, seeming to explode. The electricity gathered and flattened out, forming a large waving motion as it headed down the field.

((I was like what the XD But she is cute <3))
Houndour jumped trying to dodge the attack, causing her
tail end to get hit by a blast of electricity.
She yelped and spun around, her eyes darted forward and Hell Breaker breathed heavily. Before Midori could ask her to attack.
She moved on her own accord. Fire brewed in her mouth
and she leaped in the air aiming straight down for the smart Pikachu.
She launched her Fire Fang.

Emi was ready for the attack but got a little over-confident, dodging the fire fang too little too late and getting burned on the hind quarters. She bit back a small cry of pain and swirled around, ready for that last command Spinel almost always gave to end the battle.
"Thunderbolt."
With a devilish grin her red cheeks shot sparks that turned into a stream of electricty that combined, shooting straight at the houndour with a blend of yellow and blue light.

with a powerfloor thunderbolt.
"Hell breaker!" Midori Called out, as her Houndour Fainted

"Excellent job Emi! I knew you could pull out with another victory!" Spinel cheered as she ran towards her mouse pokemon, who ran and jumped into her arms. "I think you deserve this." Out of her pocket she pulled a thunderstone.
Emi's eyes grew wide as she looked and made a grab for it, her body turning white and changing as she evolved into a raichu, overjoyed.
Spinel smiled and hugged her friend, her first pokemon, before looking at Midori. "You and your houndour put up a great battle."
