*squeeks and flails* aieee! I gonna dies! *whimpers*

Deathclaw sneaks along the silent area that surrounded his new home. He'd come across a lone egg the previous day and was keeping watch on it. But even though he had been banned from his previous pack farther out from the City, he was in search of creating his own pack.

And so far it was only him and the little egg. The egg was safe and sound many miles away, hidden in the underbrush of some surviving plant life near a fresh water source.

Deathclaw finally gets close enough to his temporary home and finds an unwelcome scent and being by the egg. He snarls softly and speeds up a bit, teeth bared, as he gets closer to the other raptor. No one was going to harm the bare beginnings of his new pack.

He slows down enough to be able to stop completely a few yards from the others' resting spot. "Back away from the egg. It belongs to me." The hairs on the top of his head stiffin up, giving him an adjitated look.

He flicks his tail and creeps up to the egg, sniffing it over a few times before responding to the other raptor to make sure that the egg was unharmed. Deathclaw finally straightens and looks the other over. His good eye sharp and unfriendly to the disturbance of the egg.

"Why else would it be hidden amoung the plants from the open eye? Of course it has a protector. And that protector is myself." One side of his mouth curls up as he stands over the egg.

Deathclaw snorts and shifts to the water edge, leaning down to dake a drink before returning to the eggs' side for another inspection. He wasn't....angry....at the other raptor for putting his companion back in it's place, but rather angry that the other raptor had been near the egg and knew about it.

"When you hatch, you best be able to keep pace with me, little one." he sighs and curls down around the egg, curling his tail around it to hide it from view as he relaxes. Even while resting, he made sure to keep his good eye on the other male, not wanting to be caught off guard.

Deathclaw lifts a leg up to scratch at a space on his back, glancing at the other raptor for a moment to see him sleeping. He snorts and pushes himself up after getting his itch and ambles over to the other. The black raptor stays a few feet away in case the other lashes out, and splashes some water on him with his tail.

"Wake up, boy. I have a question."

And I know, I put a request in the Territory claiming thread in the guild. *nods and logs rp as well as fixes up the Pack information*

((What position do you want, Spastic? *headtilt* And I'll be heading out in about half an hour to go get my hair done, so nya.))

"Hn. Thank you for accepting." He turns around to watch his new pack member move closer to the egg to watch it. Deathclaw lifts his head up a little, "I'll go hunt for you. I've already had my fill for the time being." The raptor turns and starts to head off, stopping only seconds later to turn back around.

"I go by the name Deathclaw. Welcome to the Dark Blood pack."

Bright eyes shimmered through the grass as Sepheroth looked at the raptor and Filmol as he kept himself low to the ground, his one wing folded to his body as his tail moved only slightly. He had been watching for a while now, not moving, alone as it would seem too.

Ade rushed through the forest, weaving in and out of the tree line. The little pup glanced back, only to see that red raptor still chasing him. Ade's eyes grew wide as she speed up even more, flapping his wings in a fruitless attempt to fly. She must have been one hungry raptor to have chased him this far. Ade knew he couldn't out run her forever.....No other ideas arose in his terrified little mind. Suddenly, he forced himself to a halt by a body of water. Ade looked back, to see if the raptor still fallowed. He couldn't see her, but he could hear her stopping through the underbrush after him. Ade then thought up a plan. He noticed that the tree behind him seemed to lean over the clean water, with vines hanging down and touching the water's face. Ade dove in, trying to hold air in his little lungs as best he could. He began swimming in the direction of the vines...

Soon Keahi burst from the tree line to face the lake. The thrill of the hunt flickered in here eyes. "Where are you little arnulf?" she hissed. Keahi lowered her head, trying to pick up his scent. But to no avail. It seemed that he had escaped. Frustrated she knocked a stone into the water with a powerful blow of her tail. She puffed, still out of breath from the case. Suddenly her sharp, golden eyes spotted two other raptors not far from here. Two male raptors. The blue one looked familiar, but she could not remember his name. Had he even told her his name? The darker one, however, was completely mysterious to her. Still, this would be fun. She walked up to the two boldly, and in a sly, cooed voice she said, "Hello there, boys."

Andante, the little fox shifted through the long grass, noting Sepheroth as well as the other raptors. He had seen this silver haired one before, several times in fact and he was always with a red mane arnwulf, but he wasn't in sight... Hunkering down he looked to the sky. He had to be here somewhere....


Sepheroth however, didn't move, his eys still locked on the Raptors as he listened and watched, his feathers blowing slightly in the breeze.

Pawed feet skittered over the ground as the little fox like snake moved along the ground, his body flat as his paws moved him around back of the rather large group now as it was growing in numbers, his eyes never moving from the raptors as they would be the ones to catch him in any would at all.

He was a Teen, he was getting a little full of himself.

Keahi snorted and narrowed her eyes. She raised her head in a confident manner and glared at Deathclaw with her one slit-pupiled eye. "That wasn't very of poliet of you," she hissed. She swished her tail, some what aggravated. "I just recognize that raptor over there is all. What's your problem?"

Ade popped his head out of the water. Good, the red female was distracted. Feebly, he became to clamber up the vines and into the tree. He knew that safety would meet him there.

"Hm.....I wonder why your pack would do that to you? Perhaps you were just too weak for them or something." Keahi smirked, revealing her pearly white fangs. She waited for how the male would react.

Finally Ade made it up to the tree. He panted heavily. At last, he was safe! From this branch Ade found that he had a very good view. He could see the two raptors perfectly. And now, he noticed a griffin laying low in the bushes. What was he up to? Suddenly Ade's eyes spotted the shifting of leaves below as well. What was that?

The fox didn't notice the little arnwulf in the tree as he stopped and kept his eyes on the group, Andante wasn't the best when it came to keeping an eye up on things. Not now anyhow, well... since he was in the trees and all. (( xd ))

Keahi still wore her smirk across her face. He was certainly hot-tempered, not that she was one to talk. "Feared, huh?" she responded lazily as she looked down at her foreclaws and examined them, "Well they must have been weak fools. Why should they fear one raptor when they could all band together against you? You're just one raptor, no matter how strong you are. Well I suppose they found that out eventually. But it sounds like it took them a long time. They must have been so dumb. Why would you bother defending them in the first place? "


Edit: It wasn't until then that Ade spotted the arnulf. Where were all of these kimera coming from? He wondered if the raptors were aware of the other's presence, but they seemed to be too busy with each other at the moment to pay any attention to anything else. Ade wondered if this was a territorial conflict or something. Well, whatever. He was safe in the tree.

Andante Shifted only slightly as he coiled up, his fur brushing scales.


Sepheroth smiled to Kaji as she lay beside him. "I was just a little curious." He whispered to her softly, his eyes shifting back up to the Raptors.


Axel smiled as he peeked out from the water himself, red mane covered in seaweed as his eyes stuck out, looking after Sepheroth, his Alpha female and the other Raptors in case he needed to take action.

"Nothing good." He answered as he kept his eyes locked on the group.

Ade grew somewhat wide-eyed when he spotted yet another arnulf pop out of the water. Surely the cluster of raptors would notice him! His red mane stuck out like a soar thumb!! These raptors must have been very interesting to attract so many other kimera. Or perhaps this was a pack? That would be an interesting thought.
