Since the Game is beginning signups today, I thought it was time to do this. The Official Rules of Game XII are as follows:
Gaian
The "textbook definition" (from the guild home) is that the Gaian is the position everyone is assumed to have. Everyone in the Game without a position is a Gaian. Gaians are innocent. They don't kill, they don't protect, they don't get clues (unless the News Reporters will it). The Sniper, Crazed Killer, and probably G-Team Members and News Reporters (I'll get to them next) all want everyone to think they are Gaians.
Sniper
The Sniper position will be required to send me 2 names a day. This will be the name of the kill and a backup kill that may be needed should the main shot be killed by the Crazed Killer or used in any other unforseen event. Also, they will be required to send me a clue everyday, even if the clue is not used. I will not tell the Sniper when their clue has been given.
Crazed Killer
The Crazed Killer will have to do the same as above, no changes at all. 2 names a day, a clue everyday, and will not be told when said clue has been used.
G-Team
There will be the standard 2 G-Teamers. Their job is to chose two people (each) from the list of people to protect once a day from being shot or crazily killed. A real and a backup incase the other G-Teamer protects the same person. ALSO, they will have to give me clues too, since we have need of them now. ;D Like a killer's job, but protecting. They will not be told if their clue is used.
L News Reporter (New!)
Not enough people voted to reject or even voted on it, so I'm doing it anyway. This one works as the usual. The L News Reporter has the exact same role as the standard newsreporter. It may request clues of the identity of the Sniper or Crazed Killer once per round (day update). It may also request clues on the identity of the D Newsreporter. They work with the GCDers to find the killers. They must contact someone directly (No Mules!) and try and keep their spot a secret, lest they be killed. Once killed, they cannot get any more clues. To get a clue, they must give me a clue about themself incase the D News Reporter asks for one. They will not be told if their clue is used.
D News Reporter (New!)
This would be the new reporter. The D News Reporter has the ability to request clues on G-Team 1 or 2, or the L News Reporter once per round (day update). They must attempt to find the Sniper or Crazed Killer to even begin sending this information to them. They must figure out who the killers are by themselves (unless clues from the L NR have been released) before they are accidentally shot by them or even jailed randomly (or suspicion). To get a clue, they must give me a clue about themself incase the L News Reporter asks for one. They will not be told if their clue is used.
Votes + Jail
Everyone in the guild votes in the Day (X) thread with the update within. The voting begins when the update is posted (usually around 9:00PM EST) and voting ends at 8:00PM the next day. I have to make it 8:00 so I have time to get it all done. There will be NO jailvoting.
Updates
Updates will be written at 8 PM EST and posted at 9 PM EST. Everything must be done by 8 PM. This includes all killers and G-Teamers PMing me their info, and all members and jailees voting. The update will go up around 9 to 9:15 PM. The updates this round will occur as follows:

Jailing
Crazily Killing
Inactivities
There will be no funny little "X has been ... Y has been" and such at the end for this game, since people just look at that and don't read. I'm encouraging reading this game.
Inactives

Users all start with what we will call five inactivity points. Voting for yourself, passing, or not voting at all will each cost you one inactivity point. If you lose all five points, you will be put on the inactivity list, and all voting rights will be stripped from you. THIS INCLUDES THE KILLERS AS WELL. Any killer who fails to vote or PM me five times will also be sent to the inactives. If this occurs, a new sniper or killer will be chosen, and I will make it explicit that the person filing the role has changed. However, that is the one exception. If a killer is still voted off or killed, they will not be replaced.
Anything else? Anyone unhappy with how it works? Anything I forgot? The rules are still subject to "finalization" before the game starts. Thank you guys! Good luck, have fun!
