I have all those songs downloaded and I love all of them! I can't believe Joss asked them to sing with their real voices instead of actual singers do it for them. I love Tara and Spikes voice the most! Did you know that the singer Jewel was supposed to sing for Buffy but Buffy refused because she didn't want to be the only one to have someone singing for them. I thought that was bold! smile
I live my life in shadows, never the sun on my face. It didn't seem so sad though, I figured that was my place; But now I'm bathed in light, something just isn't right...I'm under your spell, how else could it be, anyone would notice me, it's magic I can tell, how you set me free, brought me out so easily....
Yeah, my fav song! biggrin I love TARA's voice!

Great episode even if most of the singing did suck lol. Amber Benson's voice was a nice surprise and of course James Marsters is in a band, but no one mentioned Anthony Stewart Head. He's got a great voice. The rendition he did of Freebird (another episode) I thought was really cool. For those of you who don't remember here's an audio link: Freebird

I'm not sure how i got invited to this guild but i am really glad. the Buffy musical was excellent. Especially Rest in Peace. However Dawn's little diddy with the ballet BS was really terrible and not even good mediocre ballet style it was just terrible. and her talking when everyone was singing just awful. i heard that Joss Whedon couldn't get the actress to sing and she had done ballet once so he let her do that.

Oh and my favorite song has to be They Got The Mustard Out! Oh and the parking ticket song - I cannot remember the real title right now, but the woman is getting a parking ticket and says, "There was no parking anywhere, hey I'm not wearing underwear!" sweatdrop

Let Me Rest In Peace is my fav song from the musical epi, "Once More With Feeling". The pacing of the song, from crypt to funeral to walking in the boneyard, sets the tone that Spike is forever trapped in the night.
