Fa'e are these wonderful creatures based off of myths, legends and general folklore. I discovered Fa'e while browsing the B/C because I was bored. (Not so smart, mind you, for there are a ton of cute pets out there that call your name... Next thing you know your broke!)
At first, I was only there to look at the art, after all, I was bored and wasn't interested in purchasing pets. But, I started to read some diaries, and then the front page, and fell in love instantly.
So, I decided I'd find out more about Fa'e, for I can be quite ditzy and miss stuff that's plain and clear as the computer screen. So, eventually, I've come to write this. My own Fa'e legend about the Year of the Sheep from the Chinese Zodiac. (Note: The legend I have written in here is one of the many, many stories of how it came to be~)

 One day, Buddha (God in some cases) called upon two animals of the forest and field to see him. They were Rat and Rooster (If memory serves me correctly...)
"I am going to hold a race, and the first twelve animals will be given a year in their name. Go, and tell all your friends of this race." Buddha said to the three. They were very honored to be his messengers, and ran swiftly away to tell the animals of the forest.
Now, in the end of the race, the animals had to cross a river. When Rat informed Cat of this, the creature was very dismayed. He did not like water, but he was also concerned for his dear friend Rat. He was so small! How would he swim across the river? He'd surely get swept away!
Ox heard their convorsation, and offered to give them a ride across the river. They both accepted and were very greatful. The day of the race, many animals showed up. Everyone lined up, and started as soon as it was time. Ox, Rat and Cat were in the lead the entire time. When it got time for the river, the two smaller animals boarded Ox's back, and rode safely across.
That is, Rat did. For as soon as they were in the middle of the river, he turned around and pushed Cat off. Ox's fur was too thick to feel the claws of Cat as he tried to catch hold, and the water was so loud he didn't hear his friend hiss fiercely as he hit the water.
When they reached the other side, Rat hopped off Ox and ran over the finish line first. Ox didn't mind, after all, Rat had worked very hard to bring the news of the race to everyone, surely he deserved first. "Very well. The years have been decided." Buddha smiled.
That is how the Zodiac came to be.
Note| I have elaborated on this, to make it seem more realistic. (Meaning before it was a simple story you could tell in under 15 minutes.) And, I had forgotten who the original three animals that were messengers were. Except Rat. As for Buddha/God, I hear it reffered both ways, so I used Buddha.

Nickname(s)| Floof, Floofeh, Fluffeh, Pu-chan
Age| 3 (Based on the '03 year of the black sheep.)
Myth| Year of the Sheep in the Chinese Zodiac
Gender| Male
Appearance| Little Pu-chan is built for speed. He's pretty small, but don't let that fool you. Pu-chan makes up for his small size with speed, though he may not be able to take long strides, his feet hit the ground more often that the average person. Pu-chan has feathery black hair, that is in need of a haircut, but Asu is either too lazy or just won't take him to get one at the moment. Instead of the regular human ears, Puhari actually has dark gray ram ears, as well as little ram horns that twirl like a spiral. Pu-chan's eyes are a little on the larger side. Asu hasn't been able to explain why, other than saying 'Boy, sheep sure do have big eyes, ne?' and shrugging it off. His eyes are a soft light blue color. Despite the fact that he was born in the year of the black sheep, (estimated by Asu) Pu-chan has rather pale skin. (Probably because Asu spends an unhealthy amount of time inside, and thus Pu-chan doesn't get out much.)
Depending on the season depends on what he wears. In summer, a simple t-shirt, usually with stripes, and knee length jean shorts. Asu occasionally gets him to wear knee-high socks, but that's uncommon. During winter, he wears over-exaggerated turtlenecks that seem to swallow his mouth and the very bottom on his nose. The sleeves are a little long and Asu always has him wearing some form of fleece. No, that's not where he gets all those fluffy nicknames. Actually, it's because he has a fluffy dark gray tail, that resembles a very dark cotton ball. An even rarer (if that's even a word) occurance would be when Asu struggles him into some form of female clothes. I.e., a skirt or a dress.
Personality| Puhari is a kind and gentle soul, who just wants to follow everyone else. Not. He'll act that way to pull you in, draw you close, befriend you, and then let loose the manipulative terror that is the Gentle Sheep. In all reality, Puhari does just want to be friends, but he prefers to make sure that he is the one in control, and not his friends.
This is because of some memories from past life, where he was abused and used regularly because of his kind and giving nature. Don't get me wrong, Puhari is still kind and charitable, but he has changed. He is not completely fluff. That lovable ball of fluff grew some hard horns, and he knows how to use them.
Despite the fact that his first impression is almost a complete lie, he's pretty hyper, but pessimistic. You could think of him as a mixing pot of emotions. He'll be happy, docile and optimistic for the first half of the day, and then become dreary, snappish and pessimistic for the remainder.
Overall, he's a pretty good person to be around. Just be careful you don't fall for those big, innocent sheep eyes of his, or he'll have you in his iron-fisted grasp.
Fears/Weaknesses| Puhari fears falling into his own manipulative trap. In order to win favor over you, he will literally submit to just about about everything you ask of him. He's afraid that he will grow too accustomed to such behavior, and accidentally hand the reins to someone else.
Another one of his problems is that he throws his affection around way to much, and often becomes infatuated with more than one person. Making him end up ripping his own heart in two before he moves on. Though, moving on his easier for him than the regular sheep, because of his Western sign Aquarius.

Name| Asuri Tenshi Tamagachi
Age| ???
Hair| Red, in the stereotypical 'Emo' cut. (D: Asu likes that hairstyle...-pets-)
Eyes| Green/Brown - Unknown if it's natural
Description| Asu is about 5'3" tall, but is still considered short in her family. (Some people say thats tall, I guess. O_o) She is usually found wearing something feminine, like a pink skirt with lace, along with some kind of button up white shirt. But, her outfits vary from normal to just plain weird. (I.e., short-shorts with multi-colored hose under, a tank top with fishnet and a band of roses around her head.) Asu is also fond of wearing cat ears and a cat tail everywhere she goes, whether it be in public or just around the house, it doesn't matter to her.
Personality| Asu's personality can change in an instant. One moment she'll be happy-go-lucky, and then next she'll be trying to strangle you. It all depends on what's going on and what's being said. But over all, she's a relatively calm, happy person. Asu has an extreme fetish with dressing poor little Pu-chan up in whatever she feels like, which includes clothing that is meant for girls.

Appearance| Sono favors black and white checkers. Thus, the ends of his shirt sleeves and pants are checkered, and his leggings (for he refuses to call them tights) are checkered as well. Sono has a strange tail that no other meta has, with a metal ball on the end.
Thoughts| Sono-nii is really nice. He plays blocks wiff me, and other games... Like Hide and Seek.
Name| Deskri
From| Metamorphosis Academy
Appearance| Deskri usually wears black or dark purple, which matches his hair. He has piercing yellow eyes which are always surrounded by black eye liner. (It is his item, after all.)
Thoughts| Deskri-nii scares me, and he always yells at Sono-nii...
Name| Ashe
From| Illimitable Marionettes
Appearance| 4'11" live doll, haunting gray eyes and dark gray hair, black kitty ears and tail. Finally someone that has animal traits!
Thoughts| Ashe-nii is like a daddy. Wait... Ashe-nii is a daddy....
Name| Shade
From| Illimitable Marionettes
Appearance| Raven wings, kitty ears and tail, Ashe's youngest daughter from a quadruplet group. Blind.
Thoughts| Shade-nee is very adventoous. She's brave even though she thinks the lights are off all the time...
Name| Lucifer
From| Illimitable Marionettes
Appearance| Lucy has that friendly, but hollow look to him. He has black angel wings, extremely pale skin (paler than Puhari!) and silvery gray hair. (I see a trend here...)
Thoughts| Lucy-nii is nice too... But he's grumpy right now.
Name| Raphael
From| Illimitable Marionettes
Appearance| Fiery orange hair, blue eyes, and tanner skin than Lucifer, though they are twin brothers. He's much more out-going than his twin brother.
Thoughts| I haven't met Raphy-nii.
Name| Kaoru
From| Equen Eggs Inc
Appearance| Blonde somewhat rainbow hair, large blue eyes and a very shy look.
Thoughts| Kaoru-nii likes to play wiff me too. He's a sheep jus' like me.

 ---First Life---
I was sitting in an empty field, just admiring the scenery, when my dear friend Rat popped out of the grass in front of me. "Sheep! Sheep!" He cried excitedly, hopping up and down. Now, Rat didn't just hop up and down for no reason. Usually he was a spoilsport. "What's wrong, Rat?" I asked, staring down at my little friend.
"Buddha is going to have a great race! The first twelve animals will get a year in their name!" He exclaimed, and then stopped with his excited chatter. "The race is to be held the day after tomorrow, so don't be late! We start at the edge of the forest, the finish line is just over the river." He spat out quickly, and then ran away as fast as he could.
A great race? That sounded fun to me. "Thank you, Rat!" I called after him, and stood, starting the journey to the edge of the forest. Now, the forest wasn't too far away, but the day was so beautiful, I didn't want to rush. So I took my time walking, examining the world around me.
The day of the race, all the animals lined up. "Ready, set, go!" Shouted a spirit, and we all took off. Ox, Rat and Cat were in the lead, followed close by Dragon. I kept up my pace, I didn't mind not being first. I just liked the idea of getting a year named after myself. How neat would it be if there were a year of the Sheep?
When we got to the river, I saw Rat and Cat hop onto Ox's back. How peculiar I thought, they must've decided that Ox would go before them, as a bribe. Though, Ox was a kind fellow, and he probably did it just as a favor to Rat. After all, they were good friends. Had I asked anything of Ox, he probably would have laid all these horrible rules on me. Ox and I did not get along at all. Ox is so very demanding, and wants to stick to a strict schedule. He tells me I'm too lazy, and sensitive. I can't help the way I am... I'm me... Right?
Anyway, halfway through the river, Rat shoved Cat off of Ox's back! Poor Cat couldn't get hold of Ox with his claws, and was swept away by the river. Once on land, Rat hopped off Ox and claimed the first year. How selfish, I remembered thinking, what a selfish, selfish Rat.
In the end, I wound up getting a year, and we all feasted. I didn't have the guts to talk to Rat about what he had done, but Tiger did. Boy did she roar and hiss at him. Tiger hates seening things that aren't right. She lashes out an any unjustice done to anyone at any time. She's so brave... I envy her. Little Rat ended up hiding from Tiger, only to get his revenge later on. I guess I'm okay that I didn't do anything...
---------Second Chance----------
I'm not sure, but I suppose I died out because people stopped believing in me... Though Sheep people are thought lucky, I guess I wasn't lucky enough for them. I hope that all those born in my year are okay... I'd be dreadful if they all died!
I suppose that if you asked if I had regrets, I would say that I regret not talking to Rat about the way he cheated poor Cat into not getting a space. I wish I were braver than I am. Perhaps then I could've talked to Rat about it.
"Rat," I would say, "that was really wrong. You should apologize too poor Cat." Then, I wouldn't be known as spineless, shy Sheep. Of course, Rat would yell at me... Rat's don't like that sort of thing, you know.
I hope that in this second chance, I can perhaps make up for my mistake. Perhaps I can re-define what it means to be a Sheep. That'll be the day... When Sheep people stop being Gentle, and act more like vicious Rams. We would attack those who take advantage of our gentle nature, and beat them to the ground, saying "You don't have power over us anymore." They would all regret the day they abused, used, and picked on the Gentle Sheep.

Baby
Charm ~ Pu-chan's natural cuddly, lovable nature keeps him out of most trouble. One look into those big, innocent eyes and you couldn't possibly be angry, now could you? Effects the anger level of others, calming them down so that they are less likely to act physically or verbally against him.
Child
Charm ~ See the 'Baby' section
Run Away ~ When frightened, or threatened, Puhari's speed increases by two so he can escape from whatever/whoever is threatening/frightening him.
Teen

Astral Power ~ Puhari can spiritually leave his body for short amounts of time, leaving his physical body does not mean he cannot die, however. This would be used for scouting purposes or perhaps spying.
