******** you Bush! ******** you Nader! So I guess the choice is obvious.....
Anyway, a present from Guru that I would like to share.....
President Bush was visiting a primary school. One of the classes was in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings. The teacher asked the president if he would like to lead the discussion on the word "tragedy."
So the illustrious leader asked the class for an example of a "tragedy."
One little boy stood up and offered, "If my best friend, who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a tractor runs him over and kills him, that would be a tragedy."
"No," said Bush, "that would be an accident."
A little girl raised her hand: "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy."
"I'm afraid not." explained the president. "That's what we would call a great loss."
The room went silent. No other children volunteered.
Bush searched the room. "Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of tragedy?" Finally at the back of the room a small boy raised his hand.
In a quiet voice he said: "If Air Force One carrying Mr. Bush was struck by a "friendly fire" missile and blown to smithereens, that would be a tragedy."
"Fantastic!" exclaimed Bush. "That's right. And can you tell me why that
would be a tragedy?"
"Well," says the boy, "it has to be a tragedy, because it certainly wouldn't be a great loss and it probably wouldn't be an accident."

I haven't been able to figure out who I'd vote for, or who I'll make my case for if a group of friends and I hold a mock trial focusing on the candidates. I don't know who I'll vote for in the mock elections either.
I don't like any of them. stare

Reveroth_Amraphel I can't vote..... Anyway, it seems theres a little confusion here, so..... piguren = Reveroth_Amraphel = Illyna somehow I knew it was you o_o... =X Anyways, I hate the media who always distort things D: but I GUESS I would go for anybody but Bush, seeing as at my school, 3 out of my 6 teachers keep pummeling info about him that seem awfully awfully bad ( crying first from Iraq to debates to.... car gasoline efficiency o_o although the last one would be a damnation for the whole country, not just the president >w<). If I were to vote, it'd be a sad sad day, since I am the typical gullible citizen *tears*

DNA_Guru Me not being American and under age....WOO! ******** YOU AMERICANS! YOU'RE REAL ******** NOW!! xd Please take this in jest, it's not a violation of the patriot act either ;3 I agree, but with a tinge of sadness. When America's ********, the world's ********. But, seeing as you seem to know more about all this bullshit than I do, I guess you already knew that. domokun Politics sucks, and I won't vote unless I'm forced. Anyway, for a hypothetical answer: Captain Booty If I was an American, over 18, and actually gave a sh it about voting, here's how I'd decide who would get my vote: 1. I would closely inspect the policies of each candidate. 2. Next I would review their backround in politics, and any major achievements they may have had in politics. 3. I would then watch the debates with much attentiveness, and analyze the performances of each candidate. 4. Finally, I would forget all of that, and give my vote to whoever was the most attractive. Okay, so John Kerry looks like a movie star. He'd fit the badass good-guy role perfectly. George Bush, as everyone knows, looks like a chimp. VOTE: KERRY.Let's face it, Edwards is the most attractive politician ever. d**k Cheney? No. It makes no difference whether he is "fatherly" or not. If anything, that's a detriment to his chances. VOTE: EDWARDS.We had might as well turn it into a beauty contest, as it seems to be a farce anyhow. COPY PASTE OH YEAH
