Well, technically I'm an actress, but I didn't make the cut for Caesar and Cleopatra, which is okay. Now I get to do props! I'm very excited because this means I get to go out and buy all kinds of fun Egyptian/Greek things, and those are definiely two of my favorite ancient cultures.

Does anyone have any advice or tips or amusing/interesting props stories?

My friend is prop mistress for Grease and my school and her boyfriend is stage managing and she just realized that being prop "mistress" makes her sound like the SMs b***h, which she is anyway, but she's all like 'OMGZ I'M HIS b***h." It's pretty funny.

yep. Props is fun. My actors are good about the "no touch" rule, but I have to watch out for the techies. I just tell them that if they touch something without my permission, I'll do something cruel and painful to them. They don't touch anything now...
