I have a very hard time full comboing songs in DDR. I can honestly say that I've full comboed only several songs, even less with my feet.
I've never full comboed a song any higher than light mode with my feet.
I've only AA'ed several standard, light, and heavy songs total with my fingers thorughout my whole DDR career thus far.
Any tips on full comboing songs? I always make a mistake somewhere in the song.
Can you full combo songs with ease?
Don't even ask me about AAAing songs! xp

Well if you do it enough it shouldn't be a problem. I can do it with ease but that's because I play the song over and over. It's good to keep a beat or count in your head to make sure you won't be late or early.

Don't worry about it I'm in the same position as you rite now. I'm always missing one or two and it bugs me to no end. I used to be AAing 7 footers in heavy. Now I'm only getting A's and B's.

Full combos come with time and many many hours of practice. I know when I first started I could barely make it out of any song with a B or an A. But since I've played songs so many times that their beat and elements are all fluent to me and full comboing is almost a given. Just practice more, that's all you need.

Playing full combo songs (mainly in standard or heavy) is a pain in the leg.... Well, at my home pad that is! But I won't have time if i'm on a arcade! sweatdrop (Unless i'm REALY pooped out and loose my pace! eek )

I recently AA'd "Colors" oni with a FC and about got a AA on "Across the Nightmare" oni with a FC.
There are factors that go into FC'ing. Pad quality, pressure, and consistansy are the most influential factors.
Try to play on the "better" pad (here, it's the right pad). Add pressure--keep your freezes on and have enough to register, but not enough to stomp. Stay with the beat--you have to feel it.
PRACTICE harder songs. Muffin taught me that whoring really hard songs and then moving back to easier songs really helps a lot. Get up there with someone who can pass all those and just whore them out--drain your stamina and repeat. Then move back down to easy heavy songs and see what happens (after proper rest).

I can get an AA on a lot of Standard songs, and a few easy Heavy ones.
My only suggestion is to practice the same song over and over again until you literally know what arrows are coming next.
Playing on 1.5x or 2x speed can be helpful, too.

i've never full comboed a song before....but try to get rid of anything that may distract you...like, i can barely play w/someone talking to me, or if i'm on the left side of the pad>.<

Full comboing requires good pads and a brain that can interpret the arrow patterns. Speed mods help. The only time I FCed MAX300 was on extra stage with 78 greats, but the last freeze I got an NG...so no AA there. You'll reach a point eventually where you can FC everything 9 and below...well depending on what 9s... Cartoon Heroes is a tough one to FC, and So Deep can be tricky...but I think that's about it. Practice. All you can do is improve.

I have a unique method of reading stepcharts (at least, one I haven't heard of other people using).
It's a little hard to explain, but rather than reading the arrows themselves like many people, I read their position on the screen. In other words, to me it's not 'left, down, up, right', it's 'far-left, left, right, far-right', kinda. So basically, the arrows could be replaced with, say, circles, and I wouldn't have any added difficulty. Back when I read the arrows themselves, instead of the positions, I could barely full combo songs. After using this method so much, I always AA whatever song I play, unless the pad craps out or something.
The biggest (and probably only) disadvantage to this method of reading is: Mission Mode on EX home version becomes hell in some parts (namely, the ones that change the stepzone to something weird like "right, up, left, down").
Also, if you're not against using the bar, try speed-whoring. Personally, I read songs best at 500-600 BPM. Speed mods can really affect your PA, which naturally increases your ability to full combo stuff.
Oh, and stick to trying to full combo stuff on Light and Standard, and work your way up from there.
And like Izam said: Practice practice practice.
