Apparently they exist. Kin Hunters. Probably just stereotypical people...
There are three types:

Religious Hunter
A hunter strictly for religious purposes. Probably the most stereotypical of them all. I'm not sure what they do exacly. Same goes for all the rest.

Sport Hunter
Simply for the hell of it. The name pretty much says it all. I think of them as risk takers. Or maniacs. Whichever suits them.

Classic Hunter
Most probably the most common one. Studies everything about vampires. Uses any tactic possible.. etc..

Your thoughts about Hunters? Are there actualy any out there?

stare first of all anyone that is considered a "hunter" is just your run-of-the-mill sociopathic murderer we're still human though spiritualy and mentaly we've evolved. The closest thing that could be considered a hunter and not end up in a straightjacket would be paranormal researchers and they're just curious they aren't out to kill anyone.

Word of Advice: To believe we can be hunted seperates you from reality not a smart move for longevity in this guild. Have a nice day.

It Wasn't a threat -_-...

I was wondering if they actualy existed. The message wasn't "WATCH OUT, THEY'RE COMING!"

Sorry If I offended You. But I read somewhere, that there was such a thing as a "Hunter". I thought it was a pretty stupid, and wanted to know if there we're any out there. You awnsered my question, so Thanks.

Oh, And Have A Wonderful day yourself ^_^.

Those two forms of "hunters" are real, but they are just people that take fantasy a little to forward. They are just psychopaths that need to be locked up before they think the world is full of "vampires".

Heh. Actualy I am quite gullable >_<...
I think Mizakichii explains it the best. Those people are just too out-of-it.
Somebody interested in Vampires is just some random person (( Along with the rest of the world : P)). They aren't classified as hunters. Information Hunter (Or Information Freaks), maybe. But not hunters.

Well ya there are many forms of hunters, but then you just get idiotic people... this was a recent account of a hunter..

"Vampire Slayer Shoots Man In Face"

Suspect Reportedly Fascinated With Zombies, Vampires

POSTED: 6:28 am EST March 15, 2004
UPDATED: 6:26 am EST March 16, 2004

Police in Jacksonville, Fla., arrested a man who believed he was a 'vampire slayer' after he allegedly shot his Domino's Pizza co-worker twice in the face because he thought he was a vampire, according to Local 6 News.

'Vampire Slayer' Shoots Man In Face At Fla. Pizza Shop

Timothy White, 35, who was described by friends as a born-again Christian with an unusual preoccupation with zombies and vampires, was arrested outside of a church after Friday's shooting.

Witnesses said he walked into the pizza shop on Normandy Boulevard and allegedly said David Harrison looked like a vampire. He then allegedly shot Harrison in the face and stomach.

Police said White was heavily armed with a knife, a sawed-off shotgun and three pistols when he was taken into custody.

Harrison is listed in critical condition at a local hospital.

A grief counselor was brought in to help Domino's employees.

White remains in the Duval County Jail Monday.

You all see now that vampire Hunters can be a real problem and in my opinion must be avoided at all costs.

eek people with reality issues shouldn't be allowed to read Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter books! That's exactly what the crazy with the sawed off shotgun sounds like he's been reading. That hits way too close to home since I live in a part of Mississippi proudly advertised as the Bible Belt (oddly enough we have scatered satanic cults and a few wiccan covens scattered in the area but they tend to keep to themselves and very few outsiders know they exist)

Oh yes dont forget the hunters that suffer from the "Buffy Complex" That also is a show that seems to make young people to think that they can be vampire hunters. When a person like that is trying to kill you, whos gonna be beleived by the police, someone claiming they are trying to kill a vampire, or you?

Yea... Those are really the worst ones...
Most of the news stories you hear of killings among teens in rural towns have to deal with this... I'm not saying all, but most of the time it is.
